the hero system is an embarassment
the duel system is even worse

also i fail to appreciate the prevalence of female generals and champions in this game. yes dynasty warriors has females, but they are semi-historical instead of blatantly made up and they are never as strong/skilled as historical characters like zhang fei.
they are there to add a pleasant aura of femininity to the setting, not to show how progressive the devs are.

western devs simply need to stop bothering with females and leave it all to japanese devs
