Mount & Blade

So now that GoT has ended and it was shit, are the Westeros themed mods in Warband any good yet? Any other fantasy themed Warband mods you guys like?

GODS I WAS STRONG THEN

Fuck that, how about an HBO drama set in Calradia?

BANNERLORD
THE WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE

This thread needs some more BUTTER

>bobby
>swords

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR

>mfw HBO fails to portrait the butter crisis plot

>the entire series is set around the life of Jeremus and his many and varied trips into unconsciousness

I've always liked ACOK

It'd be like a DBZ episode but with feasts instead of charging up

>Bannerlord multiplayer beta coming out soon
>Bannerlord press demo coming out in this year
Please don't be shit

>AND THIS
>IS TO GO
>EVEN FURTHER
>BEYOND
>AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>STARTS A FEAST WHILE AT WAR WITH THREE NATIONS
>AHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGHHHHGH
>RAIDS FOR BUTTER
>AHHHHGHGGHGHHHHHHHHHH

Wait did it really end or is there going to be another season.

No it's finished and everyone is pissed because they wrote the script in one day and called it.

>This is a game that has ascended beyond Mount&Blade
>I call it Warband

good

>Now this is a game that has ascended beyond Mount&Blade
>I call it Warband

who will play the margarine Majesty in the Calradia tv show?

Cast WWE wrestlers for every notable lord.

>"S-STOP IT HARLAUS!"
>"DOES HE REALLY HAVE THE POWER TO SUMMON SO MANY SLABS?"
>Count Despin the Marshall stops on his way to siege Dhirim
>"WHAT'S GOING ON?"
>falls back to Praven
>"I-I don't wanna get yelled at again"

>At last, we have finally become...
>Mount and Blade: Warband

Jericho for Harlaus

Anyone tried Prophecy of Pendor? Is it any good?

From what I gathered, it's supermax difficulty and only becomes enjoyable when you grinded like a motherfucker. It's reverse Sword of Damocles.

>Sometimes I wonder what keeps the kingdom together
>our BUTTER

Are Native and Diplomacy still best mods?

A Westeros mod for Mount & Blade could pull off a better story than the show.

>NO MY KING
>IF YOU DO THIS FEAST YOU'LL SPREAD OUR DEFENSE TOO THIN
>AND I SAY WE NEED EVERY MAN YOU GOT

great post

Why did most of the GoT armour look so meh in the show compared to the official art?

First few seasons armor wasn't that bad, but then the women designing those outfits quit.

Books placed a lot of focus on them being Knights, and with many major characters being Lords and ergo being very rich, they call attention to themselves, because in medieval combat that's important to not dying in most cases. Rhaegars Ruby encrusted breastplate, his brothers Triple Dragon crest, each of the Baratheon's Stag horn helmets, Renly's Kingsguard and their rainbow cloaks. The show forsook lots of this for some reason so everyone wears some form of scale mail.

Did Tywin ever even wear his very long gold flecked cape that was so heavy he had to take it off if he got off his horse?

What's the strategical advantage of those antlers?

Sword blocking by headbutting the enemy's blade

Isn't Sir Duncan supposed to be freakishly tall? Not the same height as some random Baratheon

lad that's Lyonel Baratheon

>are the Westeros themed mods in Warband any good yet
no.

>needing a shield when covered head to to toe in plate armor
I swear, these artist will never learn.

If this is meant to be Big Bad Bobby B, I’m disappointed as fuck. Bobbert used a hammer.

It could be another Barathebro, I guess.

It's not. Lyonel Baratheon in a trial by combat with Ser Duncan the Tall.

aaaaargh that Baratheon armor looks so fucking cool

Because they wanted it to be real. They minimized the magic and took out nearly all the cripples too.

It would suit the "Bloody Years" better, sans the widespread use of Longboats by the Ironborn to conquer the Riverlands. Targaryans bring to much cross faction politics but before them the Kingdoms were fairly separated and more culturally distinct.

>Lyonel Baratheon in a trial by combat with Ser Duncan the Tall.
Kind of sad irony

>GENERATION BUTTER

I'd watch it.

The tall butch lady's bronze armor in S2 looked fucking great. dat helmet.

Baratheons are tall too
Nanomachi... Durandon genes, I mean.

Both ASOIAF and ACOK mods are very good, I used to play ACOK a few years back but currently am playing the other one.
It's honestly the best "Game of Thrones" game we're going to get, I've actually enjoyed the officially licensed ones that many don't seem to, but the M&B mods are on another level.
I can't wait for the mods done in Bannerlord since we're going to have the actual tools with us.

Intimidation has won a lot of battles. Cavalry was so strong because infantry rarely ever could muster the courage to stay still. Bayonet charges hardly ever resulted in combat either, with the receiving side routing. In a duel between professionals it's not that big of a thing I guess...

The costume designers are the same brand as modern architects. Bland ugly shit while the smug fucks try their hardest to be unique

>started mount & blade warband
>played for a few hours
>just run around with an army on my horse from city to city and do fetch quests and shitty battles i don't have much control over
>the only thing I enjoy is chasing tournaments and making dosh
what am I missing? what's the hype about?

Do said things long enough to build up an army and renown to rival kings and create your own nation.

>not pledging your sword to the true King Graveth

yikes.
