This. I played online for a month when it started and haven't touched it since. They completely ruined the game trying to copy GTA V's success. Tried replaying the story a while ago but it's ruined for me. Its a pity because it had the potential to he a really enjoyable game. Hopefully Rockstar learn from their mistakes

Except there is no "used to be added". Gta5 got content added when it was re-released for next gen. That was the only time. Content being added to sp was never a rule, but a fortunate exception.

Rockstar of David is well aware of how hard this shit flopped. Even on their official social media pages, the comments section on any RDO news is filled with people asking for ANY single player content.

With how slow the development of online is, it'll be at least another year until they release it for PC.

Their bussiness model is to sell people single player game. The half of customers who goes online then buy cosmetics, new weapons and basically new content they cant use in single players. Its very efficient bussiness model where they milk both traditional single player gamers and multiplayer kiddies spending their pocket money on power creeps.

Why do you think rockstart did all the ban waves of people who mod stuff in singleplayer gta5? Because they cant make profits off 3rd party free to use mods. They are effectivelly selling mods this way.

It's funny that you say that, because barely 30% of people finished the Online intro and only 10% have made it to level 10. RDO was an absolute failure.

Rockstar should stop trying to make everything wacky and fun characters. Not every character has to quip and an over the top personality. If they do make BULLY 2 next they have a great opportunity to make an interesting story with some grounded characters

RDR2 is an objectively good game though and there's nothing you can do about it. There's more quality and content in it's single player portion than most games and this new online update has sparked new life in it's online. New updates are going to keep coming now.

And this weekend there was a bug that prevented people from activating stranger missions so if you haven't tried since then try again.

Start menu --> online > free roam. It should place you in a different lobby.
