Agumon would be a fun choice simply to have pokemon and Digimon in the same game, already I'm thinking they could do some cool meter shit to get them digivolving because Greymon and Charizard beating each other up would get every 90's nostalgiafag foaming at the mouth.
The fucking reveal trailer, the possibility there, Squirtle and Agumon open up the fight, but Pokemon trainer switches out for charizard and tries to toast the damn thing, and boom, Greymon, or fucking wargreymon rushes through the fire. Only in a perfect world, I swear.
As for Reimu, I'm somebody who doesn't know shit about Tohou but I've seen Cirno around enough and heard the music in YTPs from ages past to figure she could be the common denominator pick there.
Saber is a joke of a possibility, now were talking outright putting Anime in smash, not just another anime styled swordsman bogeyman.
I dont discount Steve as a possibility but I'd never consider them likely, at least not as the next announced character—but Banjo feels too irrelevant, it seems more in line with their outlined vision for DLC to pick something with a bigger appeal that could balance interest between boomers and boomers alike.
RE rep and Doomguy felt like longshots to me until Jokers showed up with a gun. Not a fancy or fantasy styled magic gun like Bayonetta was rocking before, but just an outright handgun. An RE rep, let's be real, more likely than not Leon, could handle well, similar to snake in some ways. Doomguy would take some real magic to work to make into a fighter, but I've got to be real, I'd like to see how they do it.
Mr Hayabusa seems like a pick that's just way too safe.
Not a bad pick, but just, safe, nearly boring. Give us Strider instead.
and as for dark souls...
People say Artorias. I say he's cool. People say no it should be Solaire.
I dont feel like he's the right choice.
The fact that the player character is so variable is why I doubt they, and a monster hunter could get in.
