Damn, this looks like a pretty extensive mod.

Just make it diverse? Aryan brotherhood/Triads and Yakuza/Cartel/Bloods&Crips/Terrorists/Mafia parodies, there's shit form everybody, so just make the smaller fish equally diverse and it should be ok.

Pretty much. One minute you can be in the midst of a brawl with the Aryan Brotherhood at their local bar and the next you could be ticketing an old white lady due to her expired registration. And perhaps when you get done with that, you get a 2-11 in progress by a couple blacks and you got to chase them down.

The privilege part is actually not a bad idea. You could have a city meter and the worse the city gets, that's what opens all the Riot Squad missions.

I'd like another game like this in this setting. Too bad that oriental whore game got canceled.

Yep, basically a "whatever-gen the PS5 will be" True Crime. Fuck, they could even release it as a service: we get 3-crime syndicates per pack, maybe kinda like GR: Wildlands, but that just expands with the new factions (and actually good).

We all know True Crime is dead. I mean, we couldn't even get the sequel to Sleeping Dogs that they started. But I like the idea; base game with huge updates/seasons.

I'd say it's less about politics and more about a proper cop game being too niche. Plenty of cop games exist, but I imagine devs aren't creative enough to come up with anything that isn't GTA where you're penalized for killing civilians like Crackdown.

This was a cool concept but the PS2 and the devs just weren't capable of doing it justice. It may have had a much more authentic street layout than GTA5 but the latter captured the look and feel of the areas it represented much better.
