There is more weapon swapping with different elemental damage against different enemies. Generally there is more min maxing damage. I do not mind it yet others were not keen on it when it was released.

Sounds good to me, I like having to be strategic

A nice example how procedural generation and randomization can almost completely ruin a game despite nice core gameplay, especially when no one wanted them in the first place.

WAY less enemies and it suffers for it, combat wasn't made for 3 or 4 mega enemies+a few adds

Boring storyline, completely missing the point of Wang's character arc from the first game and actually undermining its ending save from ressurecting Hoji.

It's a bloated game with neat gameplay, but pointless.

I've heard updates really fucked the game up. Is there an easy way to roll things back?

What happened? I finished the game on the first week and then never touched it again.

Unplayable on PS4 consistently.
After playing for 15 minutes or so gravity literally shifts 90 degrees and all players, npc's and loose items float up and start drifting to the side. Even reinstalling from scratch doesn't fix that. Doesn't happen for a lot of people but this is potentially game breaking if you have it.

That's all fine though. The problem is the gay RPG shit with the guns.

They turned it into a loot shooter and made every character incredibly annoying, have fun.

Finished it once back when it came out and started 2nd playthrough. I enjoyed it the way it was on the very first version, the replayability had a great potential. I wanted to upgrade all skills to the max just for the fuck of it.
But then these retards rolled out the first patch in which they've significantly reduced the amount of skill points you get from the 2nd playthrough and nerfed a bunch of weapons because "MUH BALANCE" and that's what killed the game for me. Requested a refund on Steam and I was surprised when Valve accepted my refund request even tho the amount of playtime was huge.
Never thought of picking up the game again and wasn't even bothered to download a pirate the very first version of the game. Fuck those niggas.

An absolutely horrific sequel completely devoid of the charm and wit that made the first reboot so amazing. Remember the beautiful relationship between Wang and Hoji? Try to forget how good that was. It'll make the pain as you play this cookie cutter level design monstrosity easier to bear.
