Deadfire is much better

>Brain too small
hurr durr

based and redpilled

True

Now there's a hipster opinion I can actually get behind.

at being terrible lamo

The combat is actually fun unlike PoE Deadfish

The mirror that changed stats was a mistake

>at not excelling
>at underperforming
>in bringing more attention to lgbt
>at being true to its name
>in being the game that is added to monthlies as filler, not the hook
>at dissuading people from switching to pc to game

More like patience too thin; like your hairline.

My friends always played with mods with me, and said to always play single player with 1 ally and lone wolf.
If I were to turn off mods, what sort of skills would be good to go into? Is Lone Wolf really a good idea?

I've always hated respecs.

I hated all the dialogue too, OP. Not because I hate dialogue period, but because I just wasn't impressed or enthralled at all. It came off as really boring. It's fine enough to accuse anyone who doesn't like the dialogue of being smooth brained but be real, were you REALLY impressed by the writing in this game?

It was coherent and serviceable at least. Main appeal of DOS was always the combat, not the lore

Mmhmmmmmm
Definitely much better than you pretty fish. UwU

You're not wrong. I have enjoyed the playthrough quite a bit. Sat through all the dialogue just in case, should have skipped all that.

Divinity has, for a long time, been at least partly about the comedy.

Half the fun of Ego Draconis is that half way through the game you start being able to end every conversation by saying "Fuck you I'm a dragon"

maxos

Maxos

cuckshit

fuck you

t. Maxos

>that quest in Flames of Vengeance where you can ask a dying man to find the soul of the guy you killed and tell him maxos one last time

I remember that. No way I could turn that option down. What a charming piece of shit that game was.

>tfw the original sin series literally RUINED Zandalor.

I still go back to play it every few years, it's really quite good despite its obvious limitations. I hope they revisit the style at some point, since they're going back to tweak a Dragon Commander style RPG now.

At turning people gay*

>Implying Zandalor wasn't a turbofuckup in DivDiv and Div2 whose plans literally always failed or worse, empowered the enemy
The moment I started hearing anything about DivOS1's plot in game I immediately thought "what the fuck did Zandalor do this time", and then I found the letter to Leandra signed "Z".

I mean they changed his design to be boring as fuck and stopped him being a quirky, weird ass, old wizard.

And they didn't even put him in 2 did they? how do you have a Divnity game without Zandalor?

I wanna fuck him

Well, OS1 takes place much earlier, of course he isn't a quirky old man. He's still fucking (literally) things up, so it felt in place. You're right that him and Arhu are a bit more straight-laced than their later depictions though, but I think that's just a consequence of their roles in the story.

I just think Zandalor should look out of place, he should be sitting around in brightly coloured robes with a god damn pointy hat, even during OS era. It's not right for him to not be that.

And worse, for him to not be there at all. (Especially when the story in OS2 keeps talking about Lucian, I mean even ignoring that I don't like source and including it in the "main" time period is weird. But I can accept it because Larian only nominally give a fuck about their own canon.)
