Just obviously not true man, I remember on several tracks I could only beat Oxide's ghosts by using certain karts. Polar, Pura, and RR were pretty much trash no matter what the track was, the other three types all had some use to me.

I just tested Ripper Roo and Coco on Tiny Arena and it took Coco a lot more tries to beat Roo's 1:07 lap.
I'm not denying they're slower, but it's very much exaggerated. Only on tracks like Sewer Speedway with long sweepers is it glaringly bad how slow they are.
