How shit is your gaming PC?

Pretty good. People usually make fun of me for having a cpu that is for servers, I don't know if that's good or bad. I have one of those new fast SSDs and can run a lot of games at 240fps.

Attached: Speccy64_7KMsKFkdNE.png (674x532, 46K)

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM 12 GB
2 TB HDD (almost full)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 545
DVD disc drive
Blu ray dsic drive

it's mis-matched but it holds up decently.

Attached: specc.jpg (462x427, 34K)

I'm still using parts from 2012 with rgb of ram. I just don't see why upgrade it if I only play old shit.

The processor is getting a bit dated, but I still don't see a good reason to upgrade. I love my computer, it's been very good to me the past 7 years.

Attached: IczYQBB.png (685x475, 29K)

everybody has more fucking RAM than me.

just download some more.

could be worse

Attached: Untitled.png (812x765, 38K)

It's not. Speccy is shit tho.

Attached: spec-2.png (786x516, 41K)

All out of date parts, pretty shit
>gonna trade this worthless junk for a PS4 and 2 copies of Bloodborne

Attached: Spiccy.png (3285x1578, 744K)

Aside from maybe getting a 1080 instead of a 1060 and buying my external HDD, this is basically my motherboard being maxed out.

Attached: speccy.png (757x523, 42K)

I hope new ryzen is good, i wanna go faster

Attached: 1.png (927x596, 44K)

buying another HDD, I meant

I'll probably do a Ryzen build next gen. Intel seems like its littered in security flaws.

Should I get a 144hz monitor or just another 60hz monitor?

Attached: speccy-5-10-19.png (820x645, 179K)

144hz is honestly one of the best upgrades ive ever used.
My friends always told me it was good but i thought they where shilling, its just so much smoother.

I heard you guys like bottlenecks

Attached: bottlenecking.jpg (653x521, 77K)

This is what I game on. It's also one of those portable laptop.

Attached: speccy.png (821x587, 39K)

its fine. it runs anything i throw at it.

Attached: Capture.png (988x597, 172K)

Lel I'll give you my PS4Pro and like 10 games for this shit lmao

RAM is actually 8GB, but having no dedicated GPU, 2GB go to the iGPU, so only 6 are available.
so far it plays everything i threw at it, and most of what i might actually not be able to run decently, im not really interested in playing anyway

Attached: file.png (576x466, 34K)

>all these trash machines with onboard audio
disgusting

Attached: file.png (600x600, 119K)

get the fuck out audiophile

Attached: Capture.png (614x465, 245K)

The 2500k will never die.

Attached: wut.png (393x188, 10K)

Planning to build a new PC later this year. No use upgrading this old one.

Attached: Untitled.png (642x442, 29K)

Pretty shit, but so are modern games so I don't really care.

I think it's OK.

Attached: Speccy-nu.png (676x561, 41K)

3570k
1060 6b
32gb ram

At this point I'm just going to wait for a new socket before I upgrade

He isn't exactly wrong tho. Onboard for most motherboards is kinda meh, no idea why the love for realltek. But the profit margins on boards is pretty slim, so you don't see other stuff until you start hitting stupidly expensive boards.

Plugging into the back can pick up interference from the case, where most jacks are located. And case jacks near the front aren't usually very good either.

Its like a nice mouse. Can you get by and be fine with the cheap one, yes. But there is a difference.

AMD Ryzen 3 2200G
8 GB RAM
250 SSD
1 TB Random old ass HD
No GPU because my cheap ass is using the integrated GPU

It cost me nothing at all and I can play most games at a good framerate on an old as monitor I have that's not even 1080p. I could always get a better GPU down the road but this works for my gaming fix.

true, but do you know a better alternative?

He is wrong. All internal solutions are as bad as onboard audio. You need an external USB DAC to really reduce feedback & interference.

same here, im had to get a new monitor cause my old one had sever flickering issues, otherwise i could have added a discrete entry level gpu, but im doing just fine without it

The only reason I did not buy a Discrete GPU was that last year the GPU prices were fucking bullshit and I was like fuck that. I might get a GPU now but I feel I might need to get a new monitor to really feel the difference.

if your current monitor is not even 1080p as you said, you're already reaching 60fps in most if not all games already(considering that i do get 60fps in most games at 1080p), so the only benefit of a new GPU without a new monitor would be more detailed textures, shadows, and effects.
But all that is not that noticeable(except shadows) at sub 1080, so yeah, either a new GPU and a new monitor, or a new GPU alone is not really worth it imho

Look at all these brand new i5's

Attached: 1554173835028.jpg (1137x640, 60K)

To be honest better effects and textures would be one of the main reasons to get a Discrete GPU. But for actual productivity I feel having more RAM feels like the way to go. I tend to do other shit besides playing games on my PC and having more RAM would help me on that. I did buy just one 8GB stick because I was planning on getting another one down the road. Honestly I dont understand why more people dont have gaming PCs. While it might be a bit more expensive than a PS4 Slim or Xbone S you can use it for more than gaming, that alone is value. Also the sheer quantity of games on PC which you can get a discount prices is absurd. Dont forget emulation as well and modding. I got my PC for a little bit more than 300 bucks and it's been running just fine. The only reason to get a console is if there's a specific exclusive that you need to play but other than Nintendo ones most of them end up getting a PC port sooner or later due to Europe having a bigger PC scene.

>i5 4690
>GTX 780
>8GB DDR3 RAM
>GPU crashes on anything above lowest game settings from heat
I want to upgrade but I'm a poorfag making $7 a day

Attached: h.png (659x524, 38K)

While that is true hilariously for everyone else, you do not need to disable HT on 8th and 9th gen

here's the one i used before

Attached: 300.png (659x549, 90K)

>I want to upgrade but I'm a poorfag making $7 a day
Jesus are you a fucking Chinamen working in a sweat shop? Thanks for making me feel like shit complaining about working in an Amazon Werehouse for 15 an hour.

cpu at 4.3

Attached: file.png (531x462, 39K)

from the top of my head

Intel Core I3 4???
Geforce gtx 750ti
8gb ram
a laptop Hard drive (mine broke)

it makes me want to kill myself everyday but i live with it, the wifi doesnt even reach my computer so whatever

Attached: 1557392365479.jpg (540x606, 64K)

I'm in a third world shitter where unpaid overtime is the norm and being underpayed is expected

Damn no wonder y'all want to come to the US. How the fuck can you even pay for your expenses is beyond me.

Attached: 1557799365489.jpg (670x458, 51K)

Been on the same machine for awhile now. It just works.

Attached: 1536756736367.png (687x554, 41K)

It's not even a PC.

Attached: trash.jpg (652x520, 83K)

That's a relatively old card. Have you changed your thermal paste recently? That may alleviate your heat issues.

pretty shit

Attached: speccy.png (599x428, 32K)

Pentiumchad

Attached: speccy.jpg (696x527, 52K)

practice a skill in your free time, my man. a useful skill. I know it sounds like bullshit, but it works. soak up knowledge on accounting if you want to go into business or a trade skill for construction (electrical/plumbing/etc) you can't go wrong with those and you'll be valuable no matter where you go.

Still handles most things that interest me, don't think I'll be upgrading for a couple more years.

Attached: 1537445638174.png (887x575, 42K)

Make way for the king of crap

Still managed to play Dark Souls 3 on lowest possible settings

Attached: specs.png (638x406, 34K)

Daily reminder that people should stop using speccy as it's abondonware

My 7700k has HT enabled. It is an i7.

on mobile rn but if I can run a fully modded lobby of ARMA 3 with about 80 people in it, kts probably good.

>that CPU bottleneck
Yikes!

>all these people using fucking speccy in 2019
>Not using HWInfo64

You guys are fucking tards.

Move over faggots. Make way for the Core 2 God.

Attached: Capture.png (476x402, 22K)

nobody cares nerd

Moving to 3770k?

still manages to run nearly everything at acceptable framerates. i don't plan on making any major changes for the next 2 years other than maybe an ssd and another ram stick

Attached: it_just_works.png (744x524, 48K)

OP, I think you should sprinkle some water on your CPU to cool it down a little bit.

You better have paid 50 bucks for this crap.

Do you use a DAC too?
Little thing is so good

Is this based or cringe?

Attached: Captura.png (661x522, 39K)

Attached: its shit.png (540x446, 24K)

What site do you guys to figure out specs?

I'd have to upgrade my mobo too if I wanted to change CPU, and then I might as well get some DDR4 ram, but I don't feel like spending money since I hardly even play 3D games nowadays.

>those RAM timings
>2080ti
>1440 60Hz

gtx 1060 3gb or rx 570 4gb?

Get a Ryzen CPU. AMD tends to have more backward compatibility than Intel so you wont get stuck in an outdated CPU.

>tfw you can't afford a new graphics card

Attached: womp.jpg (718x489, 45K)

At least you have hyperthreading.

it's a 960 lol there's no bottleneck from the CPU

>Ryzen 5 2600x
>NvidiaGTX 1080 TI
>16GB Team Group Dark 3200mhz b-die
>970 Pro m.2 nvme 500gb + 3tb of hdd
I think my cpu is bottlenecking me in some games so I think I might snag new Zen cpu later this summer

it's a program called Speecy

580s barely cost more than 570s, at least where I live. It really is worth the little extra investment.

The 960 is old but the 2500K is ancient.

That's definitely the weak point but what resolution are you playing at?

1440p ultrawide,so thats like 3440x1440

im buying second hand and the 570 is barely 100 bucks, the 580 is around around 150

This is Rage 2 on my rig, thats the res I play at, unless its older game, then I dsr the shit out of it

Attached: IMG_20190516_222632.jpg (3440x1440, 465K)

always nvidja

And what about the 3GB 1060s?

i cant complain, it does everything i want

Attached: file.png (749x472, 56K)

what response rate, anything newer at 144hz will be bottled necked but at 60hz not really

avoid those, don't buy a video card in 2019 with less than 6 maybe 8gb

I have 120hz monitor, but I mostly play unlocked, mostly 60-120fpa are depending on game

As someone who had a 3GB 1060, don't.
Buy either the 6GB version, or just buy a flat out better card.

>i7-4700HQ @ 2.40 GHz
>GeForce GT 750M
>8gb of some kind of ram
>2 500gb harddrive
I hate this laptop, I need to updgrade soon.
