The first time I ever thought this was in the original SMT: Strange Journey boss fight against Oroboros. I thought there must've been some trick to counter the constant regeneration it gets, but nope. You just have to DPS through it. Funnily enough when I played the remake that boss ended up being a total cakewalk. But then in the mean time I had played a lot more SMT.

Only in some temple areas that have based monkeys. In the street they're absolute pests and if they were a thing in america I guarantee it would be legal to shoot them. Plus the only monkey I ever had to "fight" was trying to maul a toddler so I don't think they cared.

3. The same thing applies to a punch and I cant spend 10 seconds charging up a punch that will for sure crush a monkey skull, like a wall for instance.

So you weren't actually fighting a monkey, you just ambushed a monkey that was busy fighting something else. In which case, no shit, numbers and the element of surprise are literally the cornerstones of warfare. Usually when you end up fighting a monkey, IT is going to be the one ambushing YOU.

Its the same principle if they're already on you. Grab any limb you can and spin, I saw tons of teenagers win "fights" this way. They arent able to get at you with bites or claws if you're spinning them fast enough. What's your experience fighting monkeys user?
