So errrrrr... what do they eat?

Drugs

Conjured mage food. Next question.

This

rocks

whatever their raiders can find and whatever they can trade for drugs with the fiends
im sure they also hunt and gather, its not like the land is THAT barren

Mix of foraging and trading food for drugs.

> le what do they eat meme

retarded. the original video was a perfectly valid deconstruction of shallow worldbuilding

>nu/v/egas fags: Haha megaton! What do they even eat LoL!!!
Me: what about primm?
>nu/v/egas fags: REEEEEEE DOES NOT COMPUTE DOES NOT COMPUTE INITIATING DOUBLE STANDARD PROTOCOL
me:ummm, okay? Lol

Even in that shithole they can clearly be seen to be tending their own crops

theyre drug runners and raiders. they obviously trade drugs for food or raid for what they need

>this thread will go over 200 posts from obsidrones completely missing the joke

fpbp

Based. Obsidiots are so fucking retarded.

Primm is a stop on a trading route user.

Um..........food???

So is megaton

There's literally a large farm next door.

Attached: NCR_Sharecropper_Farms.jpg (1779x889, 1.18M)

the three billion cazadors surrounding the entire area

Attached: 1530246367537.jpg (298x403, 32K)

Radscorpion Casseroles

there's no way that manlet farm can provide food for that many people.

Obsidian you frauds!

None if the caravans that go through megaton sell food.

You mean the one trader guy that comes by sometimes? Where does HE get his food?

Farms from other settlements where theres is actual farm able lands

You talking about the guys that just do circles around the area never stopping at a place that produces food?

Substance??????

Where are the farms in-game?

Which there are none in the capital wasteland.

They have multiple agents outside gathering supplies.

Motherfucker, there are edible plants and animals all the fuck over the Mojave. You can't walk ten fucking feet in the wasteland without tripping over a yucca plant or a gecko.

>primm
>a casino
>the first stop near vegas with utilities
>a mile rock throwing distance from the busiest caravan checkpoint in the whole west

Retard

>Foraging for food
lmao how do civilizations even survive like this?

Where do they get their seeds?

Attached: hmm.jpg (540x304, 44K)

theres literally farms in prim. No seriously. Use your eyes. Like little home farms. But OP's post is absolutely right, and its terrible as far as red rock goes.

None of the traders or the crops in New Vegas provide enough food to feed the regions they're meant to. It's a dumb debate to begin with because game logic never matches up with lore.

See

>there's farms in Red Rock Canyon
>they also trade with the biggest group of raiders in the wasteland
>OP is "right"

Civilization doesn't have to survive like that. There are only like 30 fucking Great Khans left, you'd only have to send two or three dudes out foraging for a day to feed the entire group.

You can literally see them growing corn in that pic.

Nothing in the game is realistic in scale, so that's a stupid point to start with. The idea is to show that the people in the Mojave have actually put some effort into their own survival, not make a 1:1 accounting for how every single NPC avoids starvation.

Yeah but what was the legion's tax policy?

>None of the traders or the crops in New Vegas provide enough food to feed the regions they're meant to.

Because it's not 1:1 scale, dipshit.

"Give us what we want or we'll kill you"

me: *makes you suck my dick*
you: no please I'll willingly suck your dick!!
me: *cums in your mouth* lol

My point is that we have to assume there are traders in the capital wasteland that we never see who provide the food for places like megaton. Same with New Vegas.

There's a whole herd of longhorns as well as geckos and mantises just outside of the valley plus a fuckton of plants PLUS they do trade with the fiends.

Communities in New Vegas with relatively little farming like Primm are inherently less immersion ruining because of how well developed trade and agriculture are in the Mojave. The NCR and its companies have extensive trading infrastructure and farms. It's actually perfectly reasonable to assume Primm gets shipments of food to supplement what they don't farm or hunt for themselves. That's not the case in Megaton. The Capital Wasteland has one merchant hub with like five traders, none of which are backed by a farming system to actually distribute food. The Khans probably use drug money to buy food, it's really not THAT unbelievable. Besides, they're meant to be in dire straights anyways.

See

BUT WHY DOES CAPITAL HAVE SO FEW HOUSES?

You only have to assume because the game makes no effort in showing you they exist. There's no assumption in NV, you can see them. People talk about them. You can even get a job working for them.

There aren't nearly enough crops in the current area around RL Las Vegas to support the city yet it still works.
Because it sells goods and services and imports other goods and services.

You also have to remember Mojave was less of a shithole before the Bull and the Bear made it their own playground. Hell even the 'Claws disrupting trade routes is a recent occurrence. Mojave before the war was much like Old West - mostly lawless, but not The Road or anything like that.

>biggest trading hub in the area with various caravan routes going through it
>various farms can be seen throughout that have only been recently abandoned because of the Fiends upsurge and Legion raids
>massive strip of greenhouses and sharecropper farms of the NCR
>there's literally a Quest on the strip concerning an NCR brahmin baron and the massive amounts of beef being imported to Vegas every day
>hurfdurf what do they eat

Attached: 1446455030651.png (500x373, 196K)

Did you played the game or just baiting?

not everyone is american

There isn't much lore on pre-NCR New Vegas. We know there were "Desert Rangers" but almost no details about their organization. We know about the tribes House tamed.

super based

Bullets and drugs

damn, fucking owned

FNV Goodsprings is basically real life Goodsprings, only with more Bighorners. The fact that a tiny town like that survived and thrived unchanged is a testament to Mojave being relatively calm. Plus, you know, most nukes were intercepted.

What does he eat?

Attached: Mortimer.jpg (1127x806, 432K)

Does he eat the dick of his victims?

I'm not disagreeing with you but I don't really know what your point is fren

There were at least four major local tribes, three of which were assholes, on top of NCR forcing their own three tribes of criminal degenerates into the area in the last 20 years. Two of the local tribes were nomadic. Given the complete lack of development compared to NCR, despite the Mojave being much, much better off than California ever was, I think it's safe to assume that the whole area was something of a dump.

I dunno I just want to jerk off FNV for its comfy worldbuilding. When it was revealed I really wasn't sold on the "cowboys vs. Romans" premise, but it works when you add the details.

What video?

shut up powder

Sneeds

Well from what's around there, you can grab some fire geckos. But they also make a fuck ton of drugs to trade. What do you think they trade for?

Which brings us back to traders

cringe

>all those seething (You)s
Gods work user. Nvfags are the most retarded fan boys here.

>large

Bethesda's game worlds have the worst world-building I've ever seen in a video game.

I miss when posts that were of this fucking abyssmal quality were ignored or laughed off instead of generating dozens of (you)s from retarded faggots. This post is literal 9 gag quality.

The same food that the government ordered the fda to put a shit ton of preservatives into so people could have something to eat after the nukes dropped, just like irl

I hate niggers

Why is it so abundant? Why haven't the supplies been exhausted yet by scavengers after 200 years?

Because Lonesome Road had Jet in a Pre-War safe first
