Weiss can use every element, not just ice, plus glyphs that can launch her, protect her, speed her up or slow her enemies. Also she can summon a variety of giant monsters.

The fight was obviously an ad for RWBY and volume 3, which aired just a few days later. At least this time they can't pull a Yang defeated Tifa because the limits of her Aura were not known. Because Yang vs Tifa happened before volume 3, before anyone had lost their Aura, so no one knew about how much damage Aura could take. As we saw in volume 3 and up, Aura can go away pretty fast. Yang's Aura went down to 16% after a guy kicked and shot her a few times. Weiss lost her Aura in volume 5 and got impaled.

You can't set a limit if you don't know it. Characters with unknown limits are more likely to beat characters with limits. After volume 3, several characters (including Yang and Weiss) have had their Auras broken. Aura is literally plot armor. When a character needs to die or become injured, Aura can run out in just a few hits. But otherwise Aura is pretty much unlimited. It depends on what the story and fighting asks for.

That was a DBX with no research done. It's up to the animators to decide who they think should win.

Tifa vs Yang happened before anyone's Aura had been broken in RWBY, meaning there was no data or fact to calculate its upper limits.
