It took them several years to get the game to where it is now. Why would you expect them to pick up the pace after they push a public release? Not trying to defent hopoo, but it sounds like your expectations were misplaced,

Host when?

Looks like artificer has been doing her squats.

>Make a game all about that dps
>Make a character who cant put out dps unless she gets in close even though her main attack is ranged
>Item that affects how fast someone attacks doesnt help her due to limited ammo on her primary
>All it does is make her chew through it faster
>The recharge doesnt matter because you need an absurd number of syringes to balance it out
>Her m2 becomes her primary at that point
>Her flame thrower cant keep up unless its a god run
>Ice wall is useless
Whats the point of her, again?

What is Apex Legends

Sleepposters deserved to be punched.

Artificer is the worst for endless runs because her scaling sucks but she’s objectively the strongest early game so good for races/speedruns and shit. It’s just that the only mode right now is endless.

the point of her is to be a casual filter. Anyone that's competent at her can get a good run, you're just bad at playing her
>M1 is good burst damage but requires aiming and knowing how to rotate skills instead of brainlessly holding M1 like every other class. Attack speed turns it into a quick burst, and anyone that was already bad at managing cooldowns will be even worse at it, which is why shitters think that attack speed is bad on her.
>M2 is a great nuke
>Ice Wall is amazing for executes, and is a disgusting proc nuke on large enemies. You could even lay it down as a trap and most enemies will run into it and get frozen
>Flamethrower shits out damage and procs
Stop having shitty positioning about you'd immediately see improved performance in her runs.

>calling risky rain reddit
>hotpoo is a known poster here
>literally gave the first game here for free
leave, newfaggot

The only problem with Artificer is that she doesn't have a clear focused skill like everyone else does, so people get lost in her kit.
>Commando is the M1 class
>Huntress has her boomerang and homing M1
>MUL-T has his rapid fire M1 and equip item focus
>Engineer has Turrets
Mercenary is the closest to Artificer in terms of skill utility since not only does he have something resembling a rotation, but all of his moves have a clearly defined purpose, but even then they all scale similarly so you just use them the same way that you would at the start of the game.

Artificer's skill usage changes throughout the game because her scaling is all over the place
>Fireballs are a main skill weaved constantly for damage, but can switch focus from damage to quick trash mob focus
>Charged shots become your main attack instead of an emergency AoE nuke
>Ice Wall goes from being emergency CC or executes to being useful as a AoE proc nuke
>Flamethrower is a high risk high reward damage nuke early on, but lategame it's best saved for quickly killing close range trash mobs like flyers
Granted they can all be used the same way lategame, but keep in mind that most of the people that complain about her are the type of people that play MUL-T and dive into a group of enemies head on before driving away in a panic when they take 300 damage.

>user explains skills
>not understanding it
What proof do you want from him? Proof that Fireball deals 800% + burn damage that's displayed in game in the skill menu? Proof that executing tanky targets with high HP like golems is useful? Proof that using your skills in a rotation so that you're always recharging Fireballs or Nano-bombs when you can on a class that's focused on weaving skills together? Proof that you can't just burn all of your cooldowns on a single enemy like most people do when playing other characters?

There are multiple guides out there between steam guides and user written guides on how to play her. Git Gud.

youngun's and their weekly updates and "dead games", I swear. Back in my day, there were 60 players on the Sauerbraten servers and that was considered a fun and lively weekend.

What changed?

But where are proofs?

>It is more popular than before
>It must be leddit and cancer now
If I tell you that you are so cool and edgy, will you leave?

20 dollar early access game that came with a free copy that had more content and replayability than triple A schlock and will only get more content later

i don't see the problem

I still play it with friends and have a blast doing it, so it's a good game in my book.

M2 scales with both mags and attack speed you idiot

How does one host a game of ror2?

you make a private room instead of joining quickplay

Then I click the copy clipboard and paste it, right?

Yup
