Keep your mouth shut. Metal is nothing more than edgy, barely comprehensible vocals over a loud beat. It's nothing compared to how soulful and relaxing country music is.
I'd like to see them return to Lovecraftian stuff. So much potential there.
Quetzalcoatl and Anubis among others are common personas/demons already.
Caligula Effect is more about escapism in general, and less about communications and the spreading of information

White version is the male version and white as main color, Valentineversion is female version and light pink as main color.
Velvet room attendant will always be the opposite gender
Arcana: The Hermit
Theme: Escapism, loneliness, wisdom, low self esteem
Music: Piano, folk, ballads
MC is a 2nd year student who moves to a remote mountain village.
The doctor advised him to move to a stress-free environment for a year and moves in with an elderly couple who runs a traditional hot spring.
The village starts transforming based on peoples fears and desires. Majority of the villages seem to be oblivious to these changes.
MC and friends fight these strange happenings.

Nyarlathotep returns and attempts to one up Philemon. In order to win and prevent "lol I'll just erase everyones memories and make a new reality" attempts to fuse every timeline in the universe into one singular "true" reality. Rather than having a dimension separate from waking reality a la the dark hour/midnight channel/metaverse, the gimmick is the main cast jump between alternate realities, with personas coming from absorbing alternate reality selves with different life circumstances/personalities/struggles. Doing so actually merges the timelines together however, so the stronger you become the more you further the main antagonists goals.
Elizabeth replaces Igor in the velvet room, who ends up having been corrupted by Nyarlathotep into believing that humanity will never cease its self destructive impulses (he would know since he's the manifestation of them) and thus Door-Kun will never be freed. The only true way is to rebirth the world and humanity itself, which is only possible by awakening Azathoth and ending the universe so it can be remade again when he goes back to sleep.
Elizabeth realizes after a boss fight that Nyarlathotep manipulated her and the universe isn't just going to be remade basically the same with less depression, and instead uses the nyar timeline hoping powers to create a time loop in this singular reality a la nietzschian eternal return. True ending is achieved when in one loop you fuse the MC's ultimate persona to break the seal of door kun, and maxing all social links in one play through which reduces the suicide index of the world enough that nyx's return isn't an immediate threat. This lets emo jesus perform another miracle using the Universe arcana and lets him become the eternal flute player to lull azathoth back to sleep.
>party includes: Fit Girl who just wants to punch people

Cool but the change the rural town to be a bit larger then Inaba not smaller

>instead of masks or cards, you get the Persona's coin
>the protagonist is a lowlife in the real world in compairson to what he does in the otherworld (his original dream was just to get rich)
>your shadow during the final battle controls a giant mech powered by macca in the final penultimate phase[/zpoiler]
>after you summon your ultimate persona and perform the ultimate attack, the giant mech does not die instantly, but rather he gets dizzy (your ultimate attack was the mech's weakness), wich allows you to perform a final All Out Attack with your employess
>palaces have more NPCs in them in wich you can interact with for puzzle solving (imagine like some of the dungeons in Mother 3)

That sounds fucking terrible.
Really? It wouldn't be like GTA or anything, and not really all that in depth, just sort of segments or guantlets or whatever where you gotta move fast and pop enemies as you run and evade attacks and move around. Honestly, the aiming would probably be just sort of lock on shit and firing, kinda like Xenoblade. I dunno, it sounded cool and sleek in my mind.
Dunno.
A on-rails/run&gun Sin & Punishment type hybrid could work very well.
Heck, come to think of it, I'm hankering for a SMT/Persona spin-off with Furi type gameplay.
Hmm, they could revisit Maken X for that?

>Party
Main group is the Occult or Paranormal Academy Research Team [OoPARTs] otherwise, and somewhat pejoratively, known as the Demonology Club or the Ghost Hunters. Mainly made up of students and their sponsor in the history teacher but gain a few outside members as time goes on.
Well yeah, it's not like Persona games have much to discuss.
>That's only because of the mechs in that game.
Guns are your secondary weapon in X dude.
I like the occult stuff, but honestly Persona will probably never leave Asia.
The MC will always be the same.
If you started as a male MC, you will play the male MC during the true ending.
The game will not suddenly make you switch to the female MC. I guess everyting will be explained in a cutscene/flashback showin the other MC going through the exact same events up to the "becomin velvet room attendant" part before meeting the current MC.
The other MC will not become a last minute new party member but probably give you a new persona or something.
Normal ending just ends with the MC seemingly moving out of town and the game asking to start a new game as the opposite MC.
So after murdering his collegues, his connections and pretty much everyone who ever looked at him funny just to be Prime Minister, what exactly was his endgame?

instead of the Metaverse/Dark Hour/Midnight Channel, it should be "Backstage".
>P6
>Portuguese Fado
>Green and Red
>Nostalgia
that concept already exists, kind of..
yeah but if it was announced as a Persona game from the start it would not have gotten as much backlash
Devil, you're all devil.
The guy who spends too much time here. Trying to fight boredom or wanting to escape from whatever is going on in your life right now.
You act in impulses and desires. You think you go here on your own free will to statisfy your curiosity but you're actually giving in to temptation.
"I'll go back what I wanted to do in a minute."
"I'll just keep this tab open just in case so I don't miss something."
makes sense to me
:^( thanks for the shitty analysis, Sherlock
First part made it seem like you had the right idea, but then the second part came in and made it clear you’re just having a stroke
>P6
>Music: Funk/Pop
>Color: Purple
>Themes: Growing up, Individuality, Remaining who you are while accepting adult responsibility and duty
>Mascot: Caterpillar girl, turns into a butterfly girl midgame and joins your party kinda like teddy in P4
>Party personas are based on bugs
>Ultimate personas are anthropomorphized further so they look more humanoid a la scizor and scyther from pokémon or angemon/angewomon from digimon
>Velvet Room: Large fancy hive with beehive patterns and purple honey fountains
>Summoning style: Smashing small decorative glass jars into the ground
>The other dimension is based on being small in a big world, first stage would be in something like a massive garden where you're small like a bug
>In this world everyone has different kinds of wings and true vertical exploration is introduced into the series
>The home setting is in a very small rural farmer village where the kids grew up catching bugs out in the woods and playing in the rice fields
>The plot centers around growing up and wanting to leave the village while simultanuously feeling crushing expectations from your family and peers to stay and be a farmer like everyone else
>summoning style isn't removing clothing like shedding skin or a pupa
oh shit you're right, they could be wearing heavier clothing with coats and shit and then shedding it to reveal elaborate jumpsuit designs and stuff. good idea user
Reading some of these speculation points really hurts, because I know P6 won't be as interesting.
Very pensive and reserved unless im talking with people I know and consider very close, then suddenly I'm an overconfident memester with an ironic massive ego played for jokes. Helps me cope with the depression and the jaded cynicism I've developed over the years of constant failure. Long running joke that someday i'll take over the world, mostly due to the ego and because I'm considered by most people the kind of person capable of doing anything I set my mind to; but I never actually do anything because it's not grand enough in my eyes to justify the hardships I faced and the capability I know I have inside. I end up paralyzed by my refusal to take small steps because I can't allow myself to forget the bigger picture since anything less would feel like it was all for nothing.
Honestly though even though it's played for jokes, I would actually take over the world if that were really something that were possible, mostly because the world needs a hero and I want to prove to everyone that im not a failure but also because I miss my dead gf more than anything in the world, and with that kind of power maybe I could find a way to bring her back or at least live up to the expectations she had of me instead of being a pathetic piece of shit who could have done anything but never actually did anything. I know it's autistic and cliche but its really my life. Sometimes I think my best course of action is actually to just blow my brains out and hope whatever afterlife there might be decides to take pity on me, but then I picture her face and I feel so disgusted in myself knowing that I could have made a difference and made her proud. I just don't know what to do anymore. Working a dead end job and shitposting on Yea Forums/with my friend group online isn't conducive to becoming the best I can be, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore or where I go from here. I just feel so lost.
I see you're very depressed, user. Grab a beer, walk your dog, smoke some weed, enjoy life man.
based AF, do we get a beetle persona?
of course, here's Khepri, the egyptian beetle god
u can bet your ass this boy got some high base strength on him
user, get some snacks. it helps.
and here's Cagn, the south african deity who takes the shape of a mantis
bugs are cool.
That reminds me, we need more African and Egyptian mythology in the mainline.

isn't that just SMT IV: A?
Its probably gonna be dream pop - popular in japan, old and new bands to draw from. Easy enough for the mass.
White also is a good color to to pick as the main one, anything secondary color will pop on it
saddly Atlus isn't based enough to go with it
