Because I only use it to emulate games I can emulate on my phone.

I can't hack it until I get a flash card. and I'm pretty broke until the end of the month so I'll likely hack it next month. I'm currently playing games on my vita until then.

if it's your first monhun in can be tough to get into. If you have a friend that can be your "mentor" or play alongside you it can really help.

mh4u is honestly really good with easing you in though. All the boring gathering quests are there so you get familiar with the maps and get a good amount of mats early on.

once you get a decent way in, it'll be hunt after hunt and you'll feel the progression of overcoming some tough monster and then wearing their skin as armor.

because I emulate it on my computer with citra since everything game-related I own is pirated in some form or other.

3DS games run perfect without it.

Because I'm already bored of it. I still don't have a current gen console so playing only 3DS or emulatable games has burned me out hard and the only games I'd have interest in playing are RPGs and I'm already sick of them.

Can't be bothered to play on my actual 3DS anymore since I dumped all my games for Citra.

Being able to play with a comfy controller and a higher resolution main screen where my eyes don't hurt is much better than the actual thing.

I plan to buy a 2ds xl even though I already own a old 3ds just so I can replay games.

And even then it's only needed for certain games. Twilight Menu (or whatever name that has now, that guy can't fucking decide himself) runs a LOT of DS games perfectly right now.

Talking about playing DS games in a 3DS, is there finally a way to play them without the need of a flashcart? I remember DS emulation was still pretty bad but that was a while ago. I have an R4 Gold but I think it has never been recognized by my console even when fully modded.

there are better things to play on PC, so i always ended up dropping games in citra. now that i've hacked my 3ds it's a whole new world of fun on the toilet

Yeah, that was my concern. I mean, is not a biggie, I still have a DSi and it runs my R4 almost flawlessly (except for some games like Contra IV or Portrait of Ruin which freeze) but I think I got too used to my 3DSXL, is more comfortable for me.

I stripped the screws on the backplate of my N3DS XL. I cant add my old 32 GB microSD to it and Im stuck with the 4gb card it came with. What are some tips to remove stripped screws?

I jailbroke it but I'm not entirely sure how to put old gameboy and gameboy advanced roms on it, whether they go in the .cias or whatever, and if I need to download an emulator for it or if it will run natively. I just want all my old games in one convenient package, and my SNES game collection too, cuz my SNES is aging and it's getting to the point that the controller is an unreliable mess.

>open fbi on 3ds and install cia

GB and GBA games are run natively by the console so you just need to convert them into .cia files so you can then just inject them with FBI. Google "Ultimate GBA Injector", it's pretty easy to use and I believe it also works for GB and GBC games.

Okay, construction worker here so I've dealt with this a couple of time. It's always shitty but here's a few things. The shitty plastic makes this especially bad, because a blowtorch is obviously out.

1- WD40 method. CAREFULLY apply WD40 with a q-tip. Let it sit a little. This works a decent amount of the time.
2- If possible, use a flathead screwdriver. Idk if that was originally a torx screw, but a flathead can USUALLY find purchase on something or other.
3- Carefully blow onto it with a hair dryer. This one... I'm not going to lie, I'm not sure this will work. Usually we heat things up with a torch to make it loosen up, it's the same thing you can do with hot water and a lid for a jar.

Hope that helps, I really do.

Also, high risk but can help, if you have guerilla glue and get it carefully inside the screw, then put in the screw driver to stick (let it dry), that can sometimes give you the purchase to get it out. But if you fuck up, you just glued it to the 3DS and you're even more up shit creek.

I have an O3DS but I'm sure you should be able to find a similar converter for SNES games. You can also go to 3dsiso, there should be a thread with a collection of all the SNES games officially released for the console. Personally I haven't run any emulators because the console can natively run a lot of different console games.

Yep that's the one. I really recommend using a q-tip, the little straw it comes with sucks ass and sprays everywhere. Be conservative or you'll be wiping it off for an hour. WD-40 is really great at loosening screws, door creaking, rust removal, etc., really just a handy thing to have around. Just be sure that you're not spraying it into the circuits. It's not the worst thing to get in there, but it's not good either. If possible I'd look at a diagram where someone has disassembled a 3DS to make sure there isn't something critically important right under that screw. I don't BELIEVE there is last I checked, but it's worth double checking.

After you get the screw off, you may want to consider just covering that hole with electrical or duct tape and calling it a day, or going to Home Depot/Lowes'/your local hardware store and getting a replacement, but they may not have one. You can also combine methods too, just be sure not to spray the hair dryer on the WD40 directly. Let it sit, soak 10-15 mins, wipe it clean (really clean), then heat it up. Then try the screwdriver and hopefully it loosens.

Because I only have an Aqua Blue original one and games on it doing look very good.

I just beat Devil Survivor Overclocked. It was great. Now I'm giving FFT 1.3 a shot. Loving the overhauls. Playing the content version because I want the game to be hard, but not complete and utter bullshit and I don't intend to savescum like Xcom.
I'll do DS2 next. I just don't want to end up comparing every little thing fresh off of the prequel.
