They look pretty fun and easy to get a grasp on. What user meant is that because the new one lacks plane and boat sections it's a step back. And while I do think it is one, I don't think that makes it unplayable or even back. It's probably a serviceable racer like the first game was, and will be fun to learn the ins and outs of, especially for fans who skipped the All Stars Racing games

It was futureproofing on the belief that they would get to dub Skypiea so they thought to include its characters as a tease. Anything past that was too spoiler-y and uncertain so it got cut.

How is it possible this game is a sub 75? Isn't it basically the same thing but without the transforming gimmick which puts it back on the original? Was Sonic being carried by Sega crossovers this whole time?

It's not even out yet, there's only a couple negative reviews out there, everything else is giving it a 7 and above.
