Is this the blunder of the decade?
Is this the blunder of the decade?
Nobody expected this to be good so no
>Is this the blunder of the decade?
Younglin' nothing no matter how bad it is will ever touch Duke Nukem Forever.
No mans sky release was pretty tragic
blunder of the year maybe
culling 2
I bought the super fancy version for $29.99, when Amazon price matched Best Buy. Yet long after the sale ended...it's still $29.99. I'll feel like an even bigger fool if the price continues to drop.
wait for CP77
its going be FTP soon
DNF was just mediocre and forgettable, not really a disaster like this.
Genuine question but did Duke Nukem have a budget of $200 million+? Because if it did then yes it's a bigger failure, if not, Bioware fucked up harder.
Wait anthem was $200M? Holy shit
Yeah, bear in mind the game was developed over 7 years and had a fucking huge marketing presence as well as multiple demos. It cost a lot to produce, and in the end they got Anthem.
Yeah. $180 mil on marketing, 19 mil on executive bonuses and 1 mil paying the cucks actually making the game.
It has to be there, you have to remember that Duke Nukem was in development for 12 years, that money was going somewhere in terms of paying employees and probably to keep the lights on. In terms of flops there was also Battleborn, which 2K definitely sunk tons of money into.
>Duke Nukem was in development for 12 years
It wasn't really the same game though, switched studios so all the time/money in previous iterations ended up nowhere.
Not even close that title goes to Fallout 76
I think it says a lot when this was forgotten about for this thread.
Game stop near me is closing and most of their merch left at heavy discounts is fallout 76 related. Employees are trying hard to sell the shit so they don't have to throw it away too. I just want to buy their posters and other stuff like empty cases and they pushed this game on me and every customer before me.
Nothing compares, especially as of late.
HOL UP
Andromeda just seems worse than it was cause it was a mediocre game at the start of this spree of shitty AAA garbage.
Compared to the others that aren't full games are even playable it's not bad.
progressivism is
>all its news has dried up
Dang it. Fun while it lasted.
No, it's a shit game but:
1. It somehow sold 3.7 million copies, which not impressive, isn't a full crash and burn.
2. It is impressive they got the game out in only 16 months of actual development time despite all its flaws
