Gameplay is a secondary concern to diversity to me. If they choose to include a plant over another woman in a female-starving roster, don't ask me to applaud them for it. Of course all these other additions being men, Incineroar aside, does nothing to inspire confidence or goodwill either. But in most render the budding flower is completely closed, leaving the seed mystery off the table, and when it's not closed whether its a male or female cannot be discerned. Just because the Miis are create a characters doesn't mean they don't have genders. The first thing you do when you make a Mii is select their gender. You should put the Brawler and Swordfighter in default male and the Gunner in Female default. What makes you think Kirby is genderless?
