How much more “streamlined” and simplified can Bethesda make their games?

That’ll be $59.99 plus tax+tip and you should also buy any port or remake. Ty for your time of day.
as for weapons there might not even be different types anymore. by that i mean there might just be a novice sword apprentice sword and so on.
We Fable now.
Remove all racial bonuses
simplify skills to "melee" "ranged" "magic" "crafting" and "health"
combine stamina and magic into a single thing
Pipe swords
don't ultra boomers think that morrowind was a step down too
Armor only consisting of the chest which includes the helmet and the pants which includes the shoes
There's a better term for "ultra boomers". They're called contrarians and everything they do is just to be different.
game is its own storytelling medium. i personally like text in games, but less text and streamlined doesn't necessarily a bad thing.
Oblivion had the date in the journal entry too, dumb morrowfag
Why'd they have to remove spell creation bros? Making compound spells just removed so much spell casting busywork. I dont' remember what Skyrim mod it is, but the spell Ocato's Recital was the only thing that made being a mage in Skyrim not a chore
Bethesda are fucking hacks. They don't even have a publisher pushing for simplified gameplay, they do it of their own volition.
Nigga, I played daggerfall till sickness
Quests were literally "BEAR" a lot of the time. Of course the main quest was well written and crafted, but most of the others were "enter this random dungeon and kill BEAR" with nothing else
Although of course this post is kinda bullshit because in the case of daggerfall it was tech limits more than stupidity/lazyness
to be fair, the quest giver already told me why they wanted me to do what they want. i don't also need to read about the reason when i check on quest progress.
It's either broken or uninteresting.
It will be Bethesda's take on a game like Breath of the Wild, make of that what you will
It adds to atmopshere user the way the journal describes it is simuliar to a game of D&D with a good DM who really gets you into your character
how exactly are they going to move on from the Dragonborn?
>Morrowin-prisoner who was actually the Reincarnation of Nerevar
>Oblivion-prisoner who helped Avatar of Akatosh
>Skyrim-prisoner who was actually Dragonborn
I think Oblivion cut more worthwhile stuff from Morrowind than Skyrim cut from Oblivion.
I don't really miss classes or attributes but I do miss medium armor even if it was kinda shit or shit like spears.
>TESVI will probably make modding outside creation club extremely difficult if not impossible
>Will be on an even more broken patchwork of an ancient engine
ESO might unironically be a better choice
For a second I read that as combine magic and health into a single thing.
That could be interesting
>Skyrim is great, bro!
>list of reasons why it isn't
>but like it's so fun to like explore n stuff, bro!
>literally stop caring, bro, making it all simple is good it's more fun
>dragons bro shouts fus roh dah
>morons spam magic until they die.
>cutting spell making
>okay with cutting attributes
Kys
I think ocatao's recital either comes from Apocalypse or Lost Grimoire
It was
The first two honestly sound super autistic. Don't roleplay like a retard, go kill bears.
Definetly apocalypse
You can't do that. Even smartphone game, Blades, has racial bonus like "increased damage with 1h swords"
Nah you only need 2 stats.
Health and Stats.
Every check and damage bonus is based on you Stats Stat.
So a 67 in Stats is a both a 67 in weapons and a 67 in Crafting.
That’s meant to be the quest descriptions you fucking meathead.
It's important in morrowind because there are no way points or markers, you actually have to read to know what you're doing.
Nah man, Health is stats too. The drawback of the system is -stat debuffs are everywhere. Alternatively: Want to wear heavy armor? Bonus to stats, but you lose some stats due to how heavy it is.
That's what Bethesda will cut next a main story. You'll just be some random guy with no greater purpose.
If you think those descriptions sound good then you're a autistic DnD boomer that prefers story and 'roleplay' instead of actual gameplay.
Nah man, they'd cut the gameplay before the story. This is a game development studio in 2019 after all.
Heavy Armor gives you +5 Stats for its great defenses, but -10 Stats for its weight, but with an enchantment it can be buffed with +5 additional stats!
That'd actually be a good thing.
You start the game as a simple random traveller. You're not The Chosen One. You're not the reincarnation of some ancient god. You're not the Hero of the Prophecy. You're just some guy who'll make a name by himself. Or not. It's up to you to write your own story.
Hell, I'd even love a TES without a main quest. Just guilds. A LOT of guilds. Interconnected guilds, some of them with linked stories, rivalries, alliances, tens and tens of well-crafted quests for each faction, multiple paths to follow in each guild, some path can lead you to destroy the guild, some paths will lead you to become the boss, etc. But no main quest.
Time for Bethesda to be a little bit audacious and change the usual recipe.
It's gonna be Skyrim but with less cool stuff and new cool stuff that will turn out lame/hollow a week after launch. No mod support outside of Bethesda servers or paid mods straight up. Denuvo.
I hope so. Being secretly born special is boring.
Go back to playing fortnite, retard.
Now that we can focus less on the intricacy of stats, we've added new abilities. One such ability, berserk, will send you flying into a rage, raising your stats by 50! However, while enraged you'll be unable to cast and won't be thinking about defense. This is represented by a -100 stats penalty while the buff is active.
