Fortnite is about as shit and boring as CoD but it definitely has a higher skill floor and ceiling than any CoD ever did.

Probably zoomers because people don't play anything for fun anymore and who has more time to scour all the wikis watch all the streamers and YouTube vids join all the competitive discord servers to practice and improve and have five+ hours of freetime to grind away at ranked mode in whatever the fuck they want.

I'm salty about it because it has utterly ruined any fighting game for me that I'm not competitive in myself. There isn't even a point in playing a fighting game anymore if I'm not ready to make it a part time job.

Fortnite has high APM with building. Building in general skews this in favor of Fortnite since its a mechanic that can be used in an infinite number of ways thus creating more complexity.
