You know all you fucks say this character can't get due to relevancy or being a spirit or not enough sales or not enough financial benefit or whatever the fuck. And when you get down to it, its all just fucking assumptions. But here's one thing we know. Sakurai and the Smash Devs emphasize when selecting a character, would they be fun?

I disagree. I could see them maybe implementing Shantae upward kick move that in the original game transistioned into a downward spiral attack.
She could throw out storm puff as essentially aerial mines that work as stage control, fireballs that could be charged from one to three to finally a full flamethrower that unlike Bowser and Charizard's is a quick burst of flames instead of continuous.
Her transformations could be either special or smash attacks depending on theyd be implemented.
They could even implement dancing into her moveset as an important factor. Theres a lot to work with user. Martial arts, dancing, transformations, magic, and not to mention the Pirate Gear.
I agree with you completely but I will play Devil's Advocate here.
I think Steve's moveset could be creative in terms of stage control, have it limited to three blocks, they cant be placed in the air (so they fall if done in the air, acting as a falling projectile.) and they have a small amount of health acting as a brief wall for Steve allowing him to set up with say dynamite or shit.
Steve could focus around stage control as a mechanic for him. We dont really have that currently in Smash.
