See I had the opposite feeling. The combos were fun. I had much more fun surviving on harder modes and the ghost survivors added a lot more than bloody palace.

Good riddance. The only thing worse than determining playthrough score based on time is a score attack kill combo bonus game. 4th Survivor is the only good bonus game the franchise has ever had because it's literally just survival against overwhelming odds with a story-related time limit.

REvelations 1 was fun as a 3DS title, less so as a current gen one. REvelations 2 is mainly worth it if you want an adventure with Barry and if you want to see where Capcom would try and lay down the groundwork for RE7 and REmake 2.

PS4 pro owner here, REmake 2 runs almost flawlessly. You would literally need a counter to watch it drop to 57 frames or whatever during certain cutscenes. Thats said ONE area causes a 10 frame drop for the mere seconds you are there, outiside the orphange. Fuck knows why this happens, i think its a bug.

You can say that more discussion for games is better, but on the other side of the spectrum you have service games like Destiny 2 which in theory have infinite avenues for discussion due to the annual pass and updates, but once you reach the end game it becomes one of the worst and most painful experiences on the planet. Plus are you going to be discussing the game more instead of actually playing it?
