Not really "Christian-Satanic" but it thematically leans more that way than it leans to fantasy or high fantasy. The crosses, pentagrams, and so on. In D3, it's more fantasy angels and demons than a "Christian-styled" angels and demons of D1 and D2. D1 and D2 also has that Lovecraftian feel in a way. D3 doesn't really have that and it has more of that corny Saturday cartoon feel that if you've grown out of it, you wouldn't really like it.

Ehhh... D1 and D2 seemed ambiguous where they didn't really mentioned it that often and made one feel that the previous entries was some kind of lost human history that happened eons ago. D3 kinda fucked that all up with the constant mention of Sanctuary as it's own planet and some other bullshit, like they're fucking aliens. They should return to the "lorecrafting" they've established in the previous entries. Perhaps even remove the Sanctuary idea, so it doesn't feel like the 'planet' is in the fucking WoW universe.
