Now that the dust has settled, what's the verdict on Daughters of Ash?

It's a good attempt at a mod but overall I didn't enjoy many of the things that were changed or introduced

Capra Demon fight was cool. I mean the first one when you pull up on him standing by the fire.

No pretty sure you can still get there by killing the stone golem and getting transported. I think you need to do something to get the winged demons back up there again first, though

rekindled is the closest that you will get if they will ever finish it

This mod literally has new bosses and enemies.
Obviously it uses the models within the game, but the mechanics are brand new not used for any boss

Daughters of Ash literally has new bosses, enemies, weapons and mechanics. There's PTDA too that just got an update with a bunch of new shit.

They're not really mimic bonfires. There's one odd looking bonfire that explodes when you try to light it.

I never understood the Artorias shit with fans. I see it on level with kids praising Shadow the Hedgehog.

Mimic bonfires are easily recognizable by not having the faint illumination that normal unlit bonfires have, plus their placement quite obviously tells you they shouldn't be there

This. I went back and tried lighting it a few times to see if I would be able to survive by trying different things, but once I found out it was a guaranteed death, I dropped the whole mod. They just don’t get it.

Is there any difference between Remastered and PTDE version? I saw remastered is 1.4 while PTDE is 1.31
