Factorio is the rick and morty of video games.

Figuring that out is literally the point of the game. That said, I like to create blueprints in the god mode and then build everything nice and neat in the actual game.

yeah its a mess already.

>Get a bit further every time I play due to some stupid mistake
>Last time fucked up because too many biters and not enough defences

Getting the itch to try again.

The trick is not to build walls. Walls are a noob trap. What you want to do is build a solar powered radar gun emplacement on top of every single biter nest you destroy. You end up with a wide net of defense and eyes that extends far beyond your pollution cloud. Biters never get aggressive enough to push in force, and the small random colonization parties they send out get wiped by the remote guns. If they do manage to overwhelm one of the radar emplacements, you just go out there and sweep them away and set it back up again.

Until you have solar and batteries in force, you can make do with just guns. I generally put two guns down to mark a destroyed nest.

>never put the game on sale
>but fucking increase its price
Yeah, that's gonna be an eternal hard pass from me

By setting things up in a way that saves space, time and resources without negatively impacting production.

Why even complain about the price at this point. Just pirate it. If you end up liking it and you really want to support the devs, you'll pay for it. If you can't afford it, you can always save up since you really want to support the devs. Stop bitching and optimize that train system we both know you've been working on.

Not participating in sales does suck, but I'm perfectly fine with developers choosing to increase their prices as the game itself gains traction. The other option is to make a sequel, which leaves early adopters in the dust and consumes more time remaking what was already made and trying to make the next one different.
I would say that it's well worth $30, and will be worth even more later.

I have 200 hours in the game and have never launched a rocket

There's no reason for sales to exist when it comes to digital distribution. They're just a scam to make you feel like you're "getting a better deal".

>think about some outposts system to fuck those biters
>only think you could came up was buidling minifortress with railroad artylery to trigger as many as possible bitter bases to attack outpost and get wrecked
>see this

If you have solar pans isnt just better to replace guns with laser turrets? Or just i forget that panels doesnt use batteries?
Its fucking simple yet effective, congratz user

same here bro. im so bad at this game but it tickles muh 'tism just rite

That's how early access is supposed to work. Shame on Valve for not enforcing that rule on early access games.

>pass from me
keep telling yourself that

They do give you a better deal, the alternative is a never moving price.
I'm not even opposed to their stance, if they don't wanna do sales more power to them but acting like sales aren't a better deal is just baffling.

Sales are not a better deal when the company expects the majority of people to wait until their game goes on sale before buying it and has to set their original prices higher to account for it. For the buyer there's difference between paying for a $30 game or paying for a $60 game with 50% sale, but you still feel like you're getting a better deal because of the sale.
