There is no point in comparing GU and World.
One it's a game which is the product of over a decade of build-up, while MHW is the start of the new cycle, which still need time to reach balance and content variety

MHGU running at 60FPS and 2K sticking to Guild style and no evasion arts is the ultimate monster hunter experience.

World is a good action game though. Not much depth but enjoyable nonetheless.

Neutral here. It got out of hand 2 minutes after World's announcement on E3. Some say it happened earlier but they're full of shit.

However the fanbase was ruined with the release of 3U on the 3DS and WiiU. We went from being all about the gameplay to just posting stupid memes like Monsters are for hunt, not cute.

I haven't touched GU since I can't figure out which quests I need to do to advance.

After the tutorial rank it's always hunting new monsters and doing the quests you get from the village elders. Some of the new monsters are optional, but why are you playing MH if not to hunt new monsters?

Then why the fuck is he a moose/deer. There's better animals to emulate that can actually pick up and use stuff like a tool. Disappointing to see a Cervinae monster that doesn't even try to be one.
