I really liked KiD but I'm more upset that there isn't a free-play mode.
DMC5 wins out simply because it has bloody palace. KiD is fun, but in standard grasshopper style, there are a SHITTON of gimmick levels.
Like, if I just wanted to boot it up and slash some shit, there are really only maybe six levels I could go to. Seven if I want to play through the first minute of the train sequence to get to the passenger cars.
All in all, great idea, needed a follow-up to make it golden. DMC5 wins out simply because I have tons of more places to go and visit after I'm done with the story.
