There should already be standardised button symbols already for fucks sake. The console companies can keep their patented controller designs but the buttons should be standardised across all consoles a PC. Like fucking hell if you play a xbox/PC game then play switch you get all fucked up because a/b x/y is all swapped and its fucking jarring

No, that's fucking retarded. What *should* be done is that PC games need to start allowing you to pick which type of controller you're using, so the "Press [insert button]" prompts and text actually match. The only game I've seen actually do this was Duck Game.

In RE2 remake, I got stuck on the King Queen sewer room for 10 minutes. I drought I permanently fucked up because I closed the top room. I reloaded my save and lost 30 minutes of progress. I also didn't even bother trying the RGB solution and immediately looked up a guide since I knew I was going to be stuck on it. I also had to look up the solution for almost every level in the second half of Portal 2
