In terms of library outside of PSX/N64/earlier console emulators its pretty much identical to the AppStore. Except everyone who cares about this crap probably has a phone that can play games.

I got it to emulate games, nothing else. Ot does the job perfectly well (except the dreamcast) but otherwise its still a paper weight if it couldnt emulate snes or psx games.

I remember the list of games that they polled to see what get 'ported' to Ouya. Every one of them were misleading such as "Grand Theft Auto" there were ports of GTA3 already, but GTAV was upcoming which dummies thought it referred to. There was Call of Duty, Need for Speed, and FF then a bunch of specific games like Dungeon Defenders they all had mobile ports or versions. All of them were viable except Skyrim. It was labeled just Skyrim if I recall. It was also the most voted one. Hilarious.

Backed it mostly for hobby developing, was not that disappointing with the hardware but the company behind it was way dumber than I expected. They could have had way more cool stuff on it on day one, they also fucked up the shipping. I did not even get a backer console but the regular one. Could have been a great little niche thing with more support from the start. They also failed to put any streaming service on it from day one.
