Why the FUCK do random abnormalities start escaping when I go over the PE box requirement for the day? I'm trying to do the dusk mission but I don't even hit noon by the time I hit the PE box requirement, and then random shitters escape out of the blue.

Hods is harder because of her stat debuffs. Depending on Abnormalities you are in for a rough time.
With Hod you'll want to just do works on things that won't cock shit up too much if you do a bad/normal work on them
If you have an ALEPH that can still melt down you're pretty much fucked unless it's Orchestra
Raising stats ges faster after you get certain boss reward and multiple runs most likely net you plenty of high tier gear making ordeals and new abnormals easy to handle.

Depends, you can bruteforce through Alephs if you got one full Level V with Aleph Gear.
you only have to reach level 10. You can just sanic the work to reach 10 as quick as possible.
I got midnight too one level before completion. It was purple one and it was faster and safer to just do fast works on abs than try to fight the ordeal

I'm not seeing anything in the manual, and if you mean the one for each abnormality, like I said there were no conditions for escape, and I got 3 escapes all at the same time (within 5 seconds). One was for example Melting Love, who hadn't even been worked on that day, and hadn't acted up once in the previous 10 minutes before I hit the target.

I'm thinking the best plan is to set off blue star first, with a handful of my top level guys right outside mountains cell. Have them beat on mountain once it invariably breaches, while my competent people start smacking on the star, with everyone else just grouped up for easy bullet recovery. Once mountain is suppressed, A-team returns to beating on blue star.
After that point, I just go throw a sacrificial employee into nothing there after evacing everyone else and just call in the rabbits. If they fail, I send in my EX in all stats guy with justice birb gear, and pray that that + bullets is enough to finish it.

How do I deal with Army of Black?
Every time I send someone to do work on it it just makes them go crazy and when an ordeal happens I have to deal with it almost instantly else it immediately breaks out, which wouldn't be hard with, for example, Consuming Food or Doubt, but getting tanky Truths or that clown piece of shit is basically a death sentence. I'm on Day 18, all of my employees are geared up well.

If you mean getting employees from lv I -> lv V, yeah it'll be grindy without the first few cores done. It gets better once you finish the upper floor cores. Make sure to try and pick up an easy ALEPH early if possible, so you can get an agent in overpowered gear to carry you.

Yes, you'll find them out as you encounter them, but the harder ones can be varied.

Have at least 1 type of damage per department. Utilize weapons that have special abilities, some have hidden skills that make even HE weapons good. Try to have a white, long range shooter to take care of running panicking employees (or black if you don't give a shit if they die)
Before dusk at least most of the ordeals use red damage so kitting out everyone with some red resistance will help you with some of the most common ordeals like amber dawn, green dawn, green noon, crimson noon. As you do not need to worry about crimson dawn or purple noon damage (other than to avoid explosions and the instakill entry) this covers you against all the most usual stuff and helps inure you against the extremely dangerous and common green noon. Be aware that green noon will require exceptional micro even with everyone wearing red defensive gear.
