I think the actual problem is how little content there is so far since there's only 6 classes and no artifacts. I'd expect the game to pick up again once those are in

yeah I think this is more akin to like when ror1 was still in beta. I saw a couple threads about it (hell, that's how I got introduced to it), but it didn't really take off until the big 1.0 launch
