what if you made a maze where you run around collecting tags, and then you bring those tag items into a device on the map that rewards you with something from a database that those tags correspond to

Most robust damage triggers like:

>[unit] deals [amount] of damage
etc.
>tags can be both collectibles or hazards depending on your preferences
It makes no sense to include all the same limitations though. Sure, allowing you to make a 3d dogfighter might take some effort to allow, but removing shit like unit selection limits, movespeed limits, player limits, etc should be absolutely trivial
even adding lots of additional functionality would probably not be that hard for an actual development studio vs how much value they would generate. I bet if a version of reforged that had a map editor that would let anyone put together basically anything with amazing ease, which might take as much effort to do as the rest of the game, it would sell at least twice as much as a reforged that just had the standard wc3 editor and the normal restrictions

I actually think WC3HD style is a step in the right direction. I actually think that with Warcraft populairty they have streamlined the art style way to much and tone down all the violence and gore. Morder WoW both in writing and style feels like a cartoon for children. The HD style really adds back all the grit and edge that they took out over the years.
