The variety of alchemical concoctions Amicia learns to make is pretty cool, as it opens up lots of tactics as the game goes on, so things don't get stale. The one hit death thing is good to make her feel fragile versus adult soldiers, but if you stay stealthy she can clear a camp with her sling quickly once you get the acid you can throw on their helmets so they take them off for a killshot. In that way, it feels a bit like the first Tomb Raider reboot, where a scared teen murders everyone from stealth. Aside from that, it's a pretty good game so far.

I don't care as much for Hugo as you did for Ellie or Clementine from similar genres though. I also remember people saying the soundtrack was quite good in previous threads, care to post examples? The only one that stood out for me so far was the track when you first see the Chateau d'Ombrage in the storm, a very ominous sound that made me think rats were about to appear and attack.

The rats were scary when they erupted from the ground around you the first few times, but have quickly became a simple mechanic to think your way around. I hope future levels make them scary again. The Inquisition's goons are just following orders, and the masked knight is just a guy pursuing you who hasn't made any faith-based comments yet.
