this fucking sucked
This fucking sucked
No OP. I'm pretty sure it's you doing the sucking.
I played it.
Single was ok, but multiplayer was unbearable.
what is this your first battlefield game?
BC2 was great. Been playing since Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam, BC2 is one of my favorites.
Fuck you, it was the most fun I ever had in an FPS other than the earlier Halo games.
>if I had fun iwht something it meanz its gud
The SP is garbage but the MP fits a nice in-between of classic and modern map design
idk why but the gameplay felt off when I played this. didn't had fun at all.
DICE couldn't design and balance a decent map if their fucking lives depended on it.
The only good Battlefield was BF2 Project Reality
fuck off
sucks to be you op I had fun with it
literally the last good battlefield game before they turned it into call of duty with vehicles.
You got the SP and the MP backwards, user.
look at me im so contrarian ex deee xdd
>haha cod sux amirite guys
>rides MW2's coattails for the entire campaign and wasn't even tongue in cheek about it
Fuck you, it was a downgrade in every way from BC1
Bad company killed the series with its console faggotry
The whole Battlefield series is overrated ȾɃℎ. Only worth playing the mods
>ynr the Tracer Dart
good fucking times.
Was pretty much the best battlefield and introduced a whole bunch of cancer players to the series which allowed dice to turn into the faggotry that it is today. RIP
SHAT YOR MOWF!
Dude what? Are you young enough to have played BC2's campaign when you were still a child or something? It was as bland as a game with destruction physics could possibly be
*tips fedora*
>Remove jets
>Game becomes infinitely better because map size is no longer dictated by the most bullshit vehicle in almost every game
>being this annoyed that you can't even take out jets
They're talking about the map size you dork
BC2 is literally the closest the series has ever been to Call of Duty.
The grievance is clearly that jets create maps that are absurdly large, so large that 32v32 manages to feel barren.
BC2's maps were focused, designed specifically with a frontline tug of war in mind which created constant action. It was perfection.
The maps had choke points where you're basically forced to work with other people to get through the other team, nowadays it's all just running around on your own on a huge mostly empty map. Wow... what fun.
A good pilot decides the match almost every time. Unless your entire team of engineers focuses him, you're not going to survive.
Also it had a Hind which is always nice
That is just plain wrong. BF3/4 are literally CoD with larger maps where the camera doesn't feel weighty and the environments aren't destructible. I don't know about 5 & 1, the series was dead to me by that point and I didn't try them.
Yea Forums has pretty awful taste when it comes to shooters honestly. BC2 and TF2 are insanely popular here when both games have issues. I liked both but BC2 is a shallow shooter. I liked how linear the maps were, but the shooting was pretty mediocre. Aim punch gave LMGs a huge buff, meaning medic could win fights without much skill, guns were spammy with little to no recoil.
It was a good game, but a lot of better shooters have came out since.
In all honesty Strike at Karkand in Battlefield 2 doomed the series.
>its another "contrarian appears years later to talk about a generally beloved game because if he made this thread in the years prior he would've gotten completely btfo but now that no one really cares about this old game he's finally mustered enough confidence to make the thread" episode
It's not that good of a game, Yea Forums just loves somewhat shallow shooters. Tribes Ascend is probably the deepest shooter to be popular on Yea Forums.
