minecraft's soul is notch's weekly seekrit update posts. loading up the game, having no idea what is out there. new ores, new worldgen, new items that fundamentally change the game like doors and carts.

modders do a good job of filling the void that notch left but vanilla minecraft has been soulless since the microsoft corporation bought it.

Bedrock is more stable than Java. The downsides is that it has paid mods. Do not be surprise if Microsoft force Mojang to only support Windows 10 bedrock version in the future now that Notch has been removed from executive power.

The last good Minecraft update was 1.8, the last approved by notch before it was sold to Microsoft. After that it just got too complicated with duel wielding and different types of arrows.

I really love the water expansions. I started hating Minecraft with the hunger and the incredibly empty End, but they added some stuff to the End, as well as a cool amount of stuff in the ocean. Built an ocean house in a coral reef and it's cozy as FUCK, schools of fish swim outside my window and food is a non-issue (I still built a farm though) and it's pretty at night. The wrecked ships are a little shitty but still cool. I want there to be sharks and shit in the game one day. More hostile water mobs.

it's called World Edit, not a mod but a server plugin, also if i remember correctly the stick was used to target blocks to build from

World Edit saved so much time in building. This should be a feature in minecraft.
