The simple feeling of the first game was because you were new to it dude. There's been so many fucking QoL improvements since then that if you went back after playing NL it would be a slog to get through. Remember mailing each individual fossil away? Remember animals having (varried, but) useless dialogue? Remember having no clothing options and always having horns?

I remember one leak/rumor that came out before NL was released was that you could get a boathouse. That would be pretty cool if the Switch version had that.
