私はもう日本語は勉強にする

I've lost control of my life

日本語を勉強します*

Thanks. I should really practice particles and verb conjugations more.

Too many kanji.

日本語が勉強します is probably closer, too, but what I posted essentially works too.

t. 4 years on from learning

I have none, I learned all the radicals, the hirigana, the katakana, I am in the best postion I ever could be to seriously take on the task, but my will has waned.

N4? N3?

N3's exam was way too tough for me and failed it. Now i need to study most of it again.

I quit. Japanese is a dying language anyway.

I need to actually take the JLPT one of these days. I'm around N3 level.

Katakana and hiragana is the most basic thing. Learning Kanji and how they all combinate to one another is the real meat of japanese.

And it is a mess unless you study everyday.

>World's 3rd largest economy
>dying language
If you don't have the will to learn, just say so

Why do people say grammar is easy? this shit is harder than kanji like holy fucking shit. if anything that would make me quit is this

Sigh. N3 is a bit tough for me. What is your study process?

youtube.com/watch?v=r5LgoRcYUxk

how true is this?

I learned it for two years, reached N1, and got bored.

Grammar is easy once you get over the hump of learning it. It's certainly fucking easier than English when you stop to think about it.

Anki/Kanji Study on Android, and forcing myself to actually play games in Japanese + watch anime without subs.

It's simple, the most difficult part I think is not trying to overthink it in most situations.

Can you please perhaps link me to the ones you used?

What's the best way to translate Kansai-ben?

>Most difficult language for English
Eh, there's a list from the US government that ranks the languages, and I think Japanese is actually like the third most difficult. But yeah, one of the most basic advice I've seen is to just fucking start reading stuff you want to read. It's a good way to learn, and it's what you actually want to do so you're less likely to quit. Learning for learning's sake is for a different kind of person, a very specific person that's incredibly into languages themselves.

The only problem with grammar is that it's actually foreign. go watch CureDolly

>N1 in two years
Yeah right faggot

user, i'm retarded. I don't know how you normal people memorize stuff but retaining things dosn't come easy yo me at all. I only got as far as I did by using a game called Hirigana Pixel Party in combination with this site csus.edu/indiv/s/sheaa/projects/genki/hiragana-timer.html then when it came to the radicals it took me over 3 months just to get through them using Anki.

I don't know about anyone else but i can't retain for shit doing brute force memorization. I need some kind of input to reinforce what i learn.
>do anki
>see a kanji a thousand times
>I assume i know it well
>go see that kanji outside of anki
>struggle to recall
>realize i'm a victim of the dunning kruger effect

That's why I can't do it. I now do wanikani that tests me before moving on but it's paid. Theres not alot of resources like that that are free.

I don’t have an excuse

Attached: image.jpg (4032x3024, 2.26M)

For God's sake just do RTK or KKLC or whatever. Wanikani is not even remotely worth the money. If you want to recognise kanji in any context you need to be able to produce it from scratch. And as an added bonus you get to not be an illiterate gaijin.

>just do this
no, just fuck right off. I'm not advocating for WK i'm just merely saying what works for me.

Please just leave me alone

I'M TAKING A BREAK DEKINAI-CHAN

>just do RTK
Terrible advice

LMAO at these pathetic weebs trying to learn their shitty cartoon language and talking about it on a video games board, as if anybody gives a shit.

I don't want to study every day

Reminder that one of the first things AI will replace is translation
Learning Japanese would only have been worth it 5+ years ago

I'm moderately drunk but not drunk enough? Wait, what am I supposed to have an excuse for? I can't tell; you just posted a typical, generically atypically-brown-haired anime girl.

Well, I'm still moderately drunk.

Yes, we all know that people doing work is very upsetting to you.

>RTK
>work
kek

No cute teaching waifu to encourage me to learn moonrune

I'm too busy to learn dead language just to read porn comics.

キュート・アンド・ファニー

I'm currently living in japan so i guess you're the one that needs an excuse

but i don't play vidya anymore

Yea Forums is hard work, innit.

Yeah that doesn't mean anything. Plenty of fucking foreigners live here who can't speak any Japanese at all.
