Ive played plenty of pokemon games and I don't understand why x and y are shit on compared to the rest of them

While they were easy as fuck and needed a difficulty setting, the story was meh at best but it feel like they left so much stuff behind to develop in a supposed pokemn Z that never happened, but on their own they were fun games ad good entry points in the franchise, i feel the series truly went downhill with ORAS and how gamefreak managed to fuck those games up.

To me it feels redundant compared to ORAS outside of the custom outfits. The best parts of XY are the online elements and all that shit is done better in ORAS because it has secret bases, and that shit is the best.

Pokemon discussion being allowed is up to the mod's decision, or in this case indifference.
/vp/ was first created because "General" threads got so popular that the first two pages of Yea Forums contained nothing but pokemon generals and/or a League of Legends general. It made discussing anything else a hassle.
IMO I think /vp/ is a bit antiquated since it was made in a time before we had /vg/; so if anything, Pokemon game discussion should be moved there, anime to Yea Forums, and the card game to /tg/.
On the other hand, /vp/ has become a containment board, and unleashing the unbridled shit it holds will probably upset Yea Forums and /tg/ users enough that they'll scream for /vp/ to be remade.
