there's just a lot of dead ends and tight spaces, which sucks to navegate if you don't have a lot of movement items (which you won't if you get it as your second stage)
it's annoying having to move your camera to see if there's anything underwater
also it's borderline impossible to see the rusted chest or drones

RoR1 is a slog without Glass, but RoR2 doesn't have that problem since rounds move at even paces.

What do you mean by "outside of rounds"? You keep your exp and items when going from one level to the next but that doesn't make it a grind.

I didn't explain it right. What made it grindy was the shitty mechanics combined with the procedurally generated content, sugarcoated by the unlockable characters you get as you play. It's basically glorified grinding. Whatever skill is involved is laughably minute.

Love it. Great game to zone out with a podcast and cold drink.

I enjoyed it but I'm too bad to solo Deicide and it's the only item I haven't already unlocked.

Played it to death and loved it, but now there's nothing to really do. I feel RoR 1 had more replay value but I realize it's still in early access. Still sucks that I have to wait until next year to even see a final boss though, but I hope they make it great

I hope the next update really adds good flavor items, enemies that don't flip flop between too weak and OHK territory, and a fun boss. Maybe enemies to control/restrict the player's movement? I am thinking a slime that leaves a very long lasting trail of different elements/substances that also explodes and leaves a big AOE of said substance when it dies. Like oil that slows and doesn't allow jumping if your in it

says who? If that shit is busted you will want it out as you'll get a bluescreen as soon as you reach a fucked up sector OR no boot at all. You'll lose some speed and thats it.

I dunno how Hopoo made such a 10/10 design. If Risky had been a 90s FPS, Commando would be right up there with Doomguy, Gordon Freeman, Ranger, Duke, Sam, etc.

Great game, looking forward to the update. I've unlocked everything but a few map descriptions, my one gripe is how hard scanners are to fine.

2 is fucking great, and Ive dumped 100 hours in.
Ive unlocked all the items, ive obliterated as everyone on monsoon, Ive terrified the planet.
I think ive had my fill until more content comes out.

Nerf 3D printers. Shit's too OP and there's literally no point not to convert all your items into sticky bombs.

The pool will become more diluted as items become added. It's not as if sticky printers are common, or serendipitously placed. Of my last maybe 13 runs, I had three sticky printers. One was on stage 1, the other was on stage 3, the latest one, an hour ago, was on loop stage 1. Died to overloading wisps before I could take advantage of it.
