BEEEEEEEEAAATEN WHAAAAT FOOOOOR

There's three rules to the Iron Code of the Shinobi, if you fight him then he recites one of them each time you die.

Sounds pretty neat honestly

Die twice in one phase by using the tooth or a jizo statue to unlock a second resurrection

>dubfag

your pic, but directed towards you is what I feel.

Oh. Thanks.

I'm gonna take my horse to the old town road I'm gonna, riiiiide 'til I can't no more.

OATMEAL

Finally beat this asshole last night after a month away from the game, on my 2nd attempt. I then proceeded to die to monk and close the game. I'll try again in another month.

maybe?

If you could barely beat owl then you'll never make it past isshin the sword saint.

You can skip the Monk's second phase.

You can skip the Monk's first and second phase

How do you skip the first phase?

Attached: confused screaming.jpg (342x342, 9K)

jump unto the trees and get behind the monk before it notices you and stealth attack.

If you get to the branch behind her quickly enough, she won't detect you and you can do a falling deathblow
youtu.be/mD3pkn559qw

MORE GOD REJECTED

Same way you skip the second. Have to be real quick and get to the highest branch as soon as you enter the area. Then jump and deathblow.

Huh I always thought the "One" was referring to Wolf having two lives. Didn't know he had a voice line for a third death.

Was Owl a Drowning Pool fan?

Doesn't work anymore on newest patch

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they patched away the first deathblow with 1.03. I know because I was on the monk too on NG+2 a couple of days ago.
You actually gotta fight her now.
Second phase deathblow still works though.[\spoiler]

>finally make it to isshin
>computer stops working a few hours later
>no money to fix it

fuck me

Attached: 1553449539056.jpg (2039x1378, 168K)

use a dragon tear after you die

what's the third rule? Always thought they were two.
Parent is absolute.
Lord is a close second.

You want me to pay you to fuck you so you can fix your computer?

Attached: 3.jpg (1079x1080, 128K)

why are all weebs spics

is the loneliest number

3 is basically, there's no shame in losing but you have to do whatever it takes to get vengeance on whoever beat you.

>if you like Sekiro you're a weeb

Literal mental gymnastics.

only if ur a qt girl(female)

Fear is absolute. There is no shame in losing one battle. But you must take revenge by any means necessary.

you are a weeb though

>tfw got up to the end of the game without mist raven or flame vent
shurikens are all you really need.

Attached: 1501039906353.png (725x759, 660K)

Yes it does, it's just a little different now

you still get the deathblow prompt but somehow when you go in, it just goes off. is this the patch?

>beat genichiro
>still lose

I tried this yesterday and I didn't even get the prompt at all, but well this game is kinda fucky with this shit

Who are the most fun enemies to fight and why is it these guys?

Attached: Sekiro™_ Shadows Die Twice_20190501112102.jpg (1920x1080, 467K)

I just want to say I've been making this thread almost every day for the past two weeks and I'm so happy someone picked up the torch

Attached: sekikrosmile.jpg (224x225, 6K)

Nah fuck those guys

They only became fun once I realized I could mikiri counter their straight leg jab. I assumed I could only counter weapon thrust and didn't even think to try it on body parts.

More fun than them though? I liked the Odachi Generals, I just hated that they died so easy.

Attached: SekiroGeneral.jpg (1000x667, 151K)

>almost every day for the past two weeks
Why do so many people here have this specific brand of autism?

The first one you ever fight in the Hirata estate was a big wall for me. Died a fuck ton to him before finally beating him. Probably more times than Butterfly did to be honest.

The experience made me do a lot better against every other one once I finally beat him too. Fighting more than one at a time makes is still a sweaty affair.

THING I DONT KNOW WHY

fuck these guys when they took over ashina castle. never cleared the area at the top because of that fucking special guy in brown

At this point it's optimal to only check in on Yea Forums once every one or two weeks.

Have you been to /vg/? some generals exist due to pure autism.

the dude at the reservoir at the end of the game is a decent substitute...

I could kill the sword guys first try everytime, but the spear ones fucked me over bad.

you can avoid all of them with some hooks or spam op ninjutsu like puppet... or bloodsmoke your own puppet next to brown man or something

two

Attached: Calo_Nord_profile.png (297x297, 126K)

I only ever used Mist Raven for that on snek encounter and stopped using Flame Vent after Genichiro. Firecracker, Axe and Umbrella are great though.

the spear guys are certainly more intimidating, since it takes some poking and prodding to figure out which attacks can be interrupted, but when they counter after a mikiri and you deflect it, you get a few sure hits in

This fight is such ass on NG+7 no kuros charm. After doing one combo he does another and then he does the same fucking combo again. Can't jump, can't dodge and posture gets blown too fucking fast.

I don't know how i got past him before but this is aids now

Attached: 262060_screenshots_2015-07-09_00001.jpg (500x313, 38K)

mist raven is great if you find yourself stuck in a corner or want to be aggressive against powerful attacks like isshin's one-mind

don't let him get far enough away that you can't interrupt his sprinting attacks with your own attack (use prosthetic followup after shuriken to close distance)

also, you can always jump... if you don't have mid-air deflection then there's something wrong with your brain

Not the user you responded to but I always forget I have that. Probably because I'm too used to blocking things on the ground, which is an extension of still not being completely used to having a jump.

blocking in the air is risky but also amazingly rewarding since you can move much faster but still recover some posture with your block, or jump over the enemy, or just not get hit as often(even if you would've blocked or deflected it if you didn't jump)

I, Ukonzaemon Usu-

incidentally, someone posted some unlisted video of that fight on a discord i frequent the other day, and made it look like the most basic fight in the world

I haven't been successful with it. Mostly because when I jump and try to block it, it doesn't work. When I meant "can't jump" it's always fromt he never ending combo because I can't gain any distance

>not turning on the dub purely for Gyoubu then switching back after
fucken pleb

Same. I thought he was counting how many times Sekiro ressurects and mocking Sekiro in the sense that even thought Sekiro can revive himself he still getting wrecked by his master.

aforementioned unlisted video... doubt they care if I post it, but it's not like they will know who I am anyways

AS YOU ALL AWARE

THE FUCK HAVE I BEEN DOING THE PAST 6 PLAY THROUGHS?!

THIS UPCOMING BATTLE

MAY DETERMINED THE FATE OF ALL OF ASHINA

Sekiro was kino.
I will wait for better mods and play it once again, i hope modding tools/skills is possible.

Attached: image.png (1600x900, 1.29M)

I really hate these sons of a bitch

Attached: senpou_battle_monk_enemy.png (1920x1080, 2.58M)

I'm glad that there are only about 4 of these assholes in the game since I share your feelings.

what else are we suposed to do? turn into degenerates like americans and play TLOU?

Not much fan figthing with lone shadows because they always bring final boss "the camera" with them.

It's weird how everyone has trouble with different bosses. I beat the True Monk, both snake eyes and both ape fights first try but couldn't beat Junsuke Saze without cheesing him and died over 10 times to anything with "general" in its name and Way of Tomoe.

This is the opposite of what I hear should be true.

Attached: 1540255025183.jpg (960x958, 215K)

The hardest boss in this game for me was Orin and yet I beat everything from Owl to the final boss in one day. I have no idea why she gave me so much trouble considering how she only has like 3 moves.

the hardest boss for me was horse guy.

Owl 1 hard mode force you to fight perfect.
You can use ichimoji to reduce posture bar.

I used English voices out of habit. I was going to switch to Japanese but that play session I fought MY NAME and now I've stuck with the dub.

Attached: one.jpg (851x233, 51K)

extremely important to remember that combat is designed to snowball lost health against posture

This boss is such a slog. I really don't understand the obsession with coming up with a good mechanic (posture meter) only to completely shit on it in most of the boss fights. It's practically impossible to kill this guy and a bunch of other bosses by getting their parry meter up, so you're left just whittling them down one hit at a time, which just makes the bosses extremely tedious.

This on top of the fact that he will randomly one-shot you with one move is fucking stupid.

I dont know can you repeat the question?

watch the youtube video up above
impossible? lmao

>Get to owl
>try to brute force the area and just run straight to him from the Idol.
>Die a few times
>Take a break from the game
>come back
>beat him in 2 attempts, first one getting him down to a laughably small amount of HP.
>beat every boss after that outside of True monk after that in one go.
>Haven't gotten to Isshin yet

What happened are the end game fights just super easy?

You've just gotten good at the game!

what is every other boss? there is somewhere between 0 and 1 bosses between owl and isshin

Don't underestimate what taking a break and a good nights sleep can do for your game performance.

Plus, after you get good at the game, which for most people like me happens after fighting Genichiro, I feel like dying at boss fights happens way less since you've gotten used to the mechanics and you adapt faster to the bosses pattern.

I died only once to Isshin before beating him and only died to Hirata Estate Owl about 4 times for instance.

>viking with a katana

Eh whatever it's all bullshit anyways.

True Monk, Headless Ape and his hoe, the Divine Dragon were the stuff I fought after committing Patricide.

This. I fear for how they could possibly design DLC for the game when you've mastered the mechanics. Maybe more weird animations/feints to get the player to mis-time the parry but you can spam it without much punishment

youtu.be/yVcAyEMM4Cc

A new kind of Perilous attack, maybe two could probably shake things up.

want to know a cool trick for fighting the monk? hop over a railing & it will take forever to walk around. divine dragon is the easiest boss in the game; idk how you can even get hurt outside of its one enraged combo before it dies... otherwise you can casually walk and jump around to dodge it and you just hit it with lightning? headless ape in duo uses a relatively harmless moveset compared to the first fight & the mate has little health, can be parried, and is susceptible to firecrackers...

The problem is perilous attacks require Jump, Dodge, or Mikiri Counter. Adding new ones would require a new skill be added which there isn't much button room for.

i forgot my main point which is that none of those are real bosses they are like ghostbuster adventures and divine ceremonies

You can make a crouch based Perilous attack I think and maybe something like Lightning where you have to be in the air to "Mikiri" it.

I'm no game dev but fromsoft is usually pretty good at making end-game stuff relatively tough even if you're pretty good at the game, though often enough that's just them having a ridiculous amount of health/phases.

>MY NAAAAAME IS HORSE GUY!

Because there’s always people that are willing to discuss it you asshole

>that one narrow hallway with THREE of these mother fuckers

Attached: C0D99B15-F7E6-4004-BD7A-37B184A57721.png (499x513, 283K)

you can avoid 2 with the grappling hook and just run past the third... and it won't follow you inside the building

Isshin sword saint is a fuckload easier than Dad 2.0

>so here's this design for a ninja
>he's as large as a horse and uses a sword the size and thickness of a lance
>and he's the best ninja there is
?

Shura

Attached: Shura.jpg (1920x1080, 198K)

How do I fight OWL 2.0?

That's funny cause True Monk is the only guy who I got in my second try. Anyway, make sure you don't miss the demon of hatred, he's way harder than Isshin imo.

I threw myself at him over and over and over and over until I finally persevered, that'd probably work for you too.

Literally a Bloodborne boss, went down first go.

no how do I fight him again?

shura ending is such bullshit ugh

You have to eavesdrop on Emma and Kuro at mutiple points, then confront Emma about it. After killing Owl, you get another bell that will take you to another version of Hirata

>"NIGGER"

It's impossible for someone to accidentally beat doh first time because he has moves that are designed to be unfair and kill you for reacting in the way the game normally makes you react.

DLC when?

It's possible.
>Some weenie who skipped MYYYYYYYY NAAAAAAME (it's Gyoubu) also immediately skipped this boss without even attempting it.
>Some faggot who picks rock every time in rock paper scissors and also happens to be really good runs straight up to the boss and wails on him while circle strafing for 9 minutes
>Some fucking robot that can actually perfect parry everything on reaction.

forgot about this guy love his stuff

That is the power of the 'tism.

Still don't believe you.

Ah yes the "I'm so sick of everyones shit, I'm just gonna murder the country" ending

Do you think he kills Kuro as well?

Probably, I unironically wish there was a special post game for Shura ending, where you can roam around but everyting is dead, maybe 1 or 2 survivors that just run screaming when they see you.

>OH HOW MY BLOOD BOILS

Attached: Sekiro_Isshin_the_Sword_Saint_cover.0.jpg (1200x800, 103K)

Me too, zombie grandpa.
Every time you kick my ass, oh, how my blood boils.

Hands down the best final boss From-software has given us. I enjoyed every loss because its just that good.

Sekiro is just so good, there was never a moment where I became frustrated. I always felt like I was improving each time so I hope from continues doing that.

>month from now

>threads a week max
THREE
>unique IPs total

I wasn't that lucky like this guy. Everytime I counterattacked I this this fuckass sweep which caused me to get hits. And every time I delayed my R1 I'd get hit. I basically lowered myself to cheesing him to win

STOP PULLING OUT YOUR 9MM GLOCK, YOU STUPID OLD MAN

Don't pick up the phone

Attached: skynews-dua-lipa-shanghai_4420058[1].jpg (2048x1152, 214K)

Honestly this boss was so good, so now i can't do ng+ because every other one is so blatantly worse.

I thought one in nip was ichi or something but he says something different

This game is too dumb and too hard
Fuck it

Just beat Isshin yesterday and went for the ending that made Kuro live. Found out today that I missed two bosses today though and three mini-bosses.

Is it just me though, or are the AIs of the enemies really easy to exploit? I don't remember this being the case in Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Is it just because they changed the mechanics so they didn't have time to consider some of these things?

Attached: fe8rcrcr7hp21.jpg (690x960, 73K)

It depends on the context.
"First" as in, the first rule, would be "Hitotsu"

It's not as bad as Nioh, though. That game is impossible to get into.

You can "cheese" most bosses though. If you can't beat them the classic way try to experiment more with skills and prosthetics.

True monk is a girl

Are you sure "she" doesn't have a feminine penis under those robes?

This is Japan we're talking about.

Bro it says in the memory description ;
"Her true name was Princess Yao"

It's "HITOTSU" you fucking english dub playing, homosexual losers

Besides the Demon there isn't any hard boss after Genichiro.

I reject your reality and substitute my own head-canon.

But is she CUTE! CUTE!!!! under that mask?
This is a very important question.

The camera in this game is so fucking dogshit, you'd think after 4 fucking games From learned how to make a camera system that doesn't shit itself when near a wall or corners but nope.

I have every steam achievement in the game and never once died due to the camera. You might just be bad

Use Bite Down or Hidden Tooth.
