he really does suck at platformers, but atleast he had fun. games good, after all.

We have always loved WL4 here, it just doesn't get much discussion cause Nintendo seems to want to forget Wario platformers exist and are some of their best, probably cause they actually took some actual effort to make

at first I hated the time limit mechanic, but the levels were so short and replayable, it didn't matter if you fuck something up.

So did any of you ever bother to play the minigames and grind enough to get powerups? It's actually interesting to see that the damage actually varies from boss to boss, and each 10 Coin items is geared towards a specific one.
I didn't, because I think it kind of robs away of the great timed boss fights, especially in the higher difficulties where even the 1st boss becomes pretty challenging, but it's little things like that that make WL4 such a great game.

the minigames were ass and took too long to get coins even if you are good at them
okay the dog is for the cat boss, I cant tell where to use the other ones.
the best item is the smile. fucking broken overpowered item.

The music stops, and Wario gets hyper-realistic bloody eyes, breaks out of your GBA, and then kills you and your whole family.

He starts losing money. Don't know what happenes when you lose all of it though.

Screen goes grey & Wario starts to lose all the coins you've gotten throughout the level until it reaches 0, if you don't make it in time by then,you lose & get a Time Up, like you would in a boss battle.

Lose all and you get kicked out of the level along with whatever you gathered

Wario starts to quickly lose all of the money he found in the level, and when you lose all of it you get kicked out of the level and forced to start over. Nothing special really.

I didn't know where my cartridge was for years, turns out it was in my dad's truck the entire time.
My attempt to clean some weird gunk off it both faded the sticker and made the game stop working.

Playing a video game is something literally anybody can do. Watching a video game livestream is the equivalent of sitting next to your friend and watching them play, except you don't get to make any funny jokes or discuss anything with your friend. It's the most pointless bullshit ever.

How would you improve Wario Land 4?

Didn't bother with it, hard is fine for me. WL4 is a comfort food game for me, I don't want it to be stressful since it takes me back to when my aunt accidentally bought it because she thought it had Mario in it. I was pissed at first but grew to love it later.

Improve the minigames to get coins, though to be honest, it might be better to not have these minigames or a shop at all. It's a bit counter intuitive to having time based bosses who also are at the cornerstore of the Endings you get.
Really, the only thing I'd do to improve Wario Land 4 is just have more of it. The game is a bit short, though understandably so, for a GBA platformer.

I 100%ed it. It was great, disappointed that it kinda shits the bed halfway through and is easy again and also annoyed you get nothi ng for 100%ing it
