I mean laterally slippery. It was very hard to drive right at the limit in FH3. You were either under it and losing time or over it and sliding for half a mile before finding an unbreakable tree.

I know FH4 is worse than 3, but I unironically hope they bring Hotwheels back for Expansion 2 or maybe even the fabled 3rd one we could get. It would make me forgive a lot of that game.

It just tried to fix a lot of what wasn't broken.
Wheelspins feel less gratifying because you land on so many clothing items more than actual money or cars, no singleplayer championships outside of the weekly seasonal events, the seasons don't actually add that much to the game besides good visual spectacles and the online is simply horrid.
The core gameplay is actually pretty fine, it's just everything else. They got too cocky with this one if you ask me.
