I'd rather them make more than just one game type. Sekiro was great and I'm hoping they continue making difficult third person action games but they should have the money and personnel to churn out more than just one style of game every couple of years.

The next title is called and it's being titleドランづソウル don't say specific in english but I think Submerged Souls, delivered by Sony and Fromsoftware however Fromsoftware has only delivered concept and artist work, story and world building, this title is mostly developed by Japan Studio and Sony on instruction by Fromsoftware, however it is for the PS5 exclusive I believe.

Game is set entirely under the sea with flotation combat with multi directional aerial dashing, the character theme is much like pirate and ship movies.

Game is successor to Demon's Souls which is also going to be announced for release next year very soon full remake.

As for noteable qualities the game features I believe primary mechanic of "darker ocean" where continuing loss of life results in the world becoming "deeper" and more submerged.

Fromsoft are announcing Armored Core as their big personal next project. The next Souls title is being announced by Sony and is going to cause massive asspain, Bloodborne level but x2 since it looks absolutely bananas. Been worked on by JPStudio since BB's DLC.

It's not in Dark Souls line of Souls games, it's in the Demon's Souls one. Sony has specific rights on "Souls" but Namco has rights on "SOULS".

Though Namco does have publishing rights for Demon's Souls in the west I believe so there might be some kind of partnership or agreement for publishing, but It's definitely not a multiplat.
