Dark souls 1 combat was garbage compared to 2 and 3.

That looks like a mod. I must have done that fight like 50x and that hitbox aint that big. DS1 combat had several glaring problems but hitboxes weren't one of t them, it actually had pretty good hitboxes all around in fact. There were a few notable failures here and there but nothing like the disaster that was DS2.

DS2 is full of that shit though
