Octoexpansion on the other hand, man... That was a masterpiece.

BoTW is one of my least favorite Zelda games. It has great mechanics and the environments were neat but it was a fucking slog to play. The mini dungeons and shrines were not nearly enough, especially when about twenty of those shrines are tests of strength.

No. It's been so long since a real course clear game (3d world is a weird hybrid) that I think they're gonna make one of them next. Something like a galaxy 3. Galaxy 2 came out in 2010, it will be around 10 to 11 years by the release of the next 3d Mario.

If Odyessey does get a sequel or DLC, I really hope a new land to explore would be Delfino Isle. Allow Mario to directly take control of F.L.U.D.D.

Ballon world was already the best idea for a multiplayer mode they could come up for a game like Odyssey, they will not let this in vain.

Everything sells better on the switch than the Wii. Mario party is already at like 7 million and the Wii Mario party sold 8. Wii owners only bought a couple games while switch owners are dedicated games who buy many. A new galaxy would sell crazy numbers, especially if they added Odysseys assist mode for the tards.

Although the Wii was a casual machine, they still sold shit tons of games, and Galaxy 2 sold even less than Galaxy 1. The only casual Mario that really sells is 2D Mario, 3D open world/adventure is the gamer choice.

Almost all of those games you just listed were bundled with the console. Wii owners bought very little software. Generally they just played whatever came with their system and then abandoned it 6 months later when the fad died. There's a reason skyward sword sold so awfully.

The switch is going to blow the Wii out of the water in software. The fact it's already sold 187 million with only 34m hardware 2 years in with nearly all major games still being $60 is crazy. Like you said yourself a lot of the Wii software sales were shovelware for $5 from a Bargain bin. I don't even know why someone would try to deny the switches software success. Compare smash bros or Zelda sales for example.
