How intresting Zero-G shooter can be? I think it would become boring very fast

This gimmick could wear down very fast. Or are there any other ways to prolong intrest in this type of shooter games?

Lawbreakers had a zero g gimmick but was most fun when people ignored those areas
I really like the concept of battle ready astronaut suits. I agree I personally think that parkour and jet packs are the best we can get when it comes to maneuverability in games
yeah, i also remember first Dead space when you had no thruster boots. I wish they would remake Dead Space 1 in VR, zero-g areas there could be very terrifying in scale
This looks like a spiritual successor to Shattered Horizon.
As long as they get all the gameplay elements in the game AT LAUNCH, it should be pretty fun.
astronaut battles would happen if there would be something up there to battle for, but everything is so fragile in space, you could destroy it, while capturing. And you will capture a hull that can't contain air because of countless bullet holes
I like how it looks big time, but as far as I'm aware almost every zero-G shooter game has flopped or gone dead. Maybe this one won't if it's made by the Chinese, as they're always drones for a good game
And the orbit would be filled with TRASH. Every bullet you fire would still be orbiting there
>No zoomer remembers Shattered Horizon
wait its Chinese? I could have sworn i fucking seen the concept arts on Pixiv which is Japanese deviant art like platform. Then i hope its not exclusive to some retarded Chinese playstation that no one will use
How do guns produce sound in open space?
you hear your own gun, through vibrations that go from gun, to your suit. If you seen spacewalk, you could hear sounds because camera on spacesuit records bumps and vibrations.
Looks fun but I doubt it'll last a year.
bluedrake42? bluedrake42.
for fucks sake it came out in 2009 its not some venerable masterpiece that only oldfags and cool dudes can remember
>fire shot and miss
>300 years later get a sick headshot
>smart bullet recorded the full distance
>instantly get enough space navy XP to level up to 5 star admiral
for fucks sake it came out in 2009 its not some venerable masterpiece that only oldfags and cool dudes can remember. fucking buzzword boys are a plague
in shattered horizon the sounds were simulated, and you could turn off your suit to disable sound and also make you harder to see to other players as the lights of your suit would turn off.
its only for PS4
>How intresting Zero-G shooter can be?
Ahem...
Your body thru arms will absorb most of vibrations, also suit arms probably mostly soft it'd be not enough to hear sounds
Why the fuck one would simulate sounds of own gun IRL like this, for what purpose? To make it harder for yourself to hear voices of your team on radio?

The sound goes from hands, through body to camera that is one helmet or chest harness.
It's camera's microphone on video, my dude, not human's ears what are quite different in regard to catching vibrations and transmitting sounds for your brain, you know
but the gunshot sound and energy are stronger than simple bumps and scratches.
Your body's water, bones, and meat literally nullifies most of vibrations starting to go thru your arms in the first place. I see a way of it to go into your helmet to make your ears catch some sounds but those sounds would be very low echoes I doubt even close to those in the game
>more casualties from bullets reentering planetary orbit than hitting adversaries.
>melee range is 2nd tier damage but if you fire a shot you better make it count
soumds like a fun mechamic
