I dont know. I guess Sony paid them a shitload of money to make sure it always stays on PSVR, because RE7 is basically the killer-app for VR in general. If it were available for PC I might consider getting a headset, because PC can go way higher quality than PSVR

The timed exclusivity ended like a year after release so it's not that. It's probably more like they don't see any incentive in porting it to PC since nobody is paying them to port it on there, which has always been one of the biggest issues with PC in general.

Yeah it sucks that even after the success of a VR title, they're still turning their noses at making more titles for it. REmake2 would have been neat with a VR mode even if it kept the third person perspective.
