Beakers seem to go less high and far when thrown, I don't know about the missiles. The warp orb will only hit the guy in first place when you don't have 10 wumpa fruits, as opposed to also hitting everyone on its path in the original.

Probably, but he channels all his frustrations into work. How else could he have built Cortex a space station in less than a year's time?
Noone knows, not even the character designers. My personal belief is that Gin got so used to just throwing himself into whatever project that he probably doesn't remember, himself. Imagine Coco studying up on aerospace to build her Warped spaceship only to discover in horror that it was written by N. Gin in his previous life.
In its defense, they had to retool N. Trance's body to fit CTRNF's streamlined kart design. Textures aren't so much an issue and you could apply the same criticisms to much of the NST cast. Personally I feel it looks better in motion and helps bring him up to speed with the rest of the cast.
He's an interdimensional being with a penchant for hypnotism. Tropy recruited him for Uka Uka in a handheld game.

That's why match making is important. However, if you play with weapons, someone is bound to get a warp orb or clock sooner or later. It doesn't matter how fast you are, you can't outrun them. If you're playing a match without weapons, then it's a test of pure skill. This is a good thing as it let's the people who are truly skilled compete against each other as well. Imagine a race with 4 or more high-level players without weapons; intense af. Or a 1v1 race even. I'm not a stream watcher but even I would watch a steam with that shit.

Super turbo pads (only on some jumps) provide a completely new speed tier that is difficult to control with most characters. Before it could only be accessed by having tons of boosts stacked and going over a super turbo without jumping. In the old game it would end immediately if you ever boosted after hitting the super turbo pad, in the remake, it stacks normally so it can be maintained indefinitely.

Soul is a real thing. Some people might argue over whether a game is soulless or not, but it's usually obvious when a game HAS soul, and they've put a lot care into the game's presentation.
