ITT:
>i-it gets better after half of the game!!
>it actually does
ITT:
It gets good after an hour for that game
try adding an zero after the one
till you reach the moutain top its utter shit
>have to suffer through Vesperia's dogshit combat until it opens up, maybe 50 hours in
Fuck.
I doubt it will be worth it
Where is this cutie from
cute belly
what game ?
FFXII
Xenbolade 2
Dragon Quest games
Xillia
it a fucking JRPG epidemic
Ys 8
>Xenoblade 2
>"it gets better like 20-30 hours into the game"
>can't bring myself to play it from Chapter 1-4, it's a huge slog at times
>get to Chapter 5
>game starts getting pretty good, gameplay improved quite a bit
>Chapter 6 onwards
>the quality of combat and the story skyrocket
>game becomes incredibly fun and keeps getting better and better
Why the fuck does 40% of the game need to be a tutorial?
Unironically FFXIII
Bogpill me on the Ys series
And they top down RPGs?
I really dont know why they made it so slow to start out. You have no options in combat and everything takes forever.
Later on you can get combo chains going and the combat system is fucking fun. In post game you go full autismo and do 99999999999999 break combos just because you can
it never really got good
Not to mention Chapter 1-4 is like 50% filler, the actual story stuff is good but then you have a bunch of dull quests that go nowhere and the meme Tora quest. I mean, I liked it for the /m/ references, but it overstayed it's welcome/
Ys VIII is midriff heaven
I disagree on Final Fantasy XII. The structure of that game is:
>The beginning up to leaving the first tomb is great
>The entire middle section of the game which is repeating that section in different aesthetics with little to no actual story progression happening is terrible
>The ending from the point where Ashe starts building towards her final decision is good again
Has anyone figured out how to get these outfits onto PC yet?
Damn straight, first thought was how lickable it looked.
Sadly no.
an unflattering angle. makes her look pregnant. I hope she is.
I found it the opposite
I thought the story went to shit when the saving the environment story came in
I didn't bought the game yet and I'm still hesitating between PS4 and PC (Switch don't seem to work well), are those costume PS4 only, or Japan only?
Vita and Switch version had extra costumes.
PS4 version had an extra dungeon.
PC version is based on the PS4 release.
I got it on Switch and I know I have that one for Laxia. Switch is alright. I only got it there because the PC version doens't work if you are on Windows 7 and have a NVIDIA card. PS4 is probably better than the switch version if you have the option.
She will be after I am done with her
I guess I can rule out the PC version too then. It still hard to choose between botch console versions. They have some sharp pro and con.
Thanks.
Mostly everyone will agree on that, user
>blah blah child of the fucking moon blah child of the full fuck blah etc
Game sauce?
Switch runs at 30fps, but PS4 is supposed to run at 60fps so that might change things for you as well. I'm fairly certain the Switch version has the extra dungeon that buddy mentioned above
whats wrong with the switch version?
Y's girls are such a waste of potential with Falcom behind the helm.
So basically every jRPG in existence then, when the battle system actually gets good 30% in.
It gets better...fifteen minutes into the game. Island exploration in a game with Japanese anime characters is something you rarely see.
Everything is a waste of potential with Gust and Falcom at the helm. If their character modelers ever left the company, they would greatly help the companies they end up at.
god Ricotta is too cute
It gets better right after the mandatory shipwreck.
Xenoblade 2 in a nutshell.
Definitely a game that got better later on, super slow start though.
no
first part is dogshit
never play a Tales game for the story.
I find the part about forming and managing a village of castaways while exploring the island fun while the Dana plot is boring as sin to me, so yeah.
Io a cute! CUTE!
*blocks your path*
>Persona 4
>gameplay doesnt start for 3-4 hours
>Xenbolade 2
There are still tutorials for new mechanics as of the last chapter in the game. It's fucking insane.
I thought it was good all the way through.
Action RPGs. Based of the best versions of the games
YS1&2 are all bump action and are worth playing since they are the pinnacle of the dead genre, plus some great dungeons
Ys3 is considered one of the best Action RPGs ever. Concise and fun. Isometric-ish would be the best would to present it
YS4 is an party system standard action. Easy to play
YS5 is only on snes and is standard top-down action. Worst place to start
YS6, same engine as YS3 but more grindy. don't start here
YS7 is the first party system experience. Hasn't aged particularly well. Don't start here
YS8 is party system with nice graphics
YS Origins is same engine as 3 and 6
Honestly start with Ys1&2. It may be the most difficult but I am very happy I did so and once you get used to the action, the game itself is great.
Pathologic is walking around slowly talking to people for the entire game, but the halfway point is when muggers and arsonists start flooding the town at all times of day, and infected districts become such a clusterfuck of infected, plague clouds, and rats you start to actively avoid them and spend time on much longer routes. Pathologic's gameplay never gets fun but it gets way more interesting at the halfway point.
