It's the best shooter out right now, and the best third person shooter hands down. Also the ONLY shooter with a solid melee combat system. The aesthetic is so fucking cool too.

I played it when it launched it was alright, seemed surprisingly well made for a game I hadn't heard of until I started downloading it. It's too bad it's a real pain to get into a multiplayer game with a small community.
Tried it when it was called something else (Raiders of the Lost Planet?) and the f2p scheme they had going on was the most cancerous thing I had ever seen.
Warframe is a shitty grind, buggy as fuck, with pvp that will never ever get fixed, and developers that ,let corrupt sjw mods run wild.
True for the grindy & buggy part, but Spacelords is also a huuuge grindfest, don't deny this.

If they'd just made it a regular $40 game from the start it probably would've done much better.

no, they just released a cash shop cosmetics update. i've been keeping my eye on the game, i might try it out at some point, but the story focus kind of turns me off. i'd like to see something less linear like warframe.
